Guys, i'll be real, i don't exactly hate Paper Mario 64, it has unique stuff and its characters are good, but its gameplay... is a chore to come back to it, i am (Not quite) surprised a mod that allowed most of the mechanics of TTYD to be retrofitted to the game that kickstarted it all, since compared to Super Mario 64, PM is a *Witch* to hack, in fact while still complete, the game is still rough around the edges but believe me, its a vast improvement over the original

OVERVIEW OF GAMEPLAY CHANGES

Press Start to skip dialogue
Partner system up-to-date, meaning that instead of the "Knock partner a certain amount of turns" of the OG Partners has an actual lifebar
Can get more copies of certain medals, improving their damage but also costing more FP
Items from TTYD are included
Recipes are updated too, that said still no cookbook
Enemies carries items, while you can steal them, that mean they will not hold from using them
Parakarry's TBF useless carry move is swapped for Parcel, allowing you to yoink said items
HP, FP and BP caps are increased
Ranks gets replaced with Shines

MODES

The game has cool new modes, four difficulty modes:
Casual, for those that merely want to plow through the game
Original, the same game yopu know and love, with all the QOL mode
Hard Mode, enemies hit hard, forcing you to be smart
INSANE MODE: Well... shit

Aside of that you get another three aditional modes: Normal, Randomized and Bow Mode... huh?

Bow mode is as its description implies, only Bow can be used in battle, yeah you can obviously use Partners for puzzles, but as soon as you enter battle you are locked with Bow, she gets some beefing with her tho

OVERWORLD MAP

The map gets expanded in some ways, some rooms can be found normally, others need some puzzle solving while others will flatout require a guide, the one that i was hyped more is the Pit of the 100 Trials, hidden... somewhere in the sewers, like in TTYD

Known issues

The game is still kinda clunky, you can beat it fully since it is 1.0, but some issues are still glaring

If you have multiple copies of a Badge equipped and you unequip them all at once, one will be gone
New areas can cause glitches
W and L Emblem badges aren't exactly polished
If you try to get the Master Diploma like in Vanilla, the boss battle freezes
At times the Hud breaks and the game freezes in a error message with zero warning

Most of the bad aspects can get brushed as merely the game being still relatively new, so it may get better with time... assuming the project isn't abandoned
