If we’re still talking about burgers, I’ve tried In-N-Out on a NUMBER of occasions and have been thoroughly disappointed every time. The real good ones are Checkers/Rally’s you goofballs, their fries are ORGASMIC!!! I can’t believe more fast food chains don’t offer spicy fries.

I’ve never had Whataburger, but I know a guy in Texas who eats pretty much exclusively that, so it’s on the list whenever I visit. I also had a very, very good experience at a Shake Shack several years ago.

Also, Johnny Rocket’s, while not terrible, is very bland. I’ve never been to one of those things as an adult, but I imagine that brand exists purely as “experiential dining”.

Honestly you're not missing much at Whataburger the only thing that can be interesting is when the burger is on Texas Toast. Otherwise never order a plain burger, I've been to many and even those outside of Texas they amazingly 9/10 get my burger cold.
