Yeah, but nothing so fancy. I used to use my PS4 as my place to put stickers lol.

Oooh was it like Cyberpunk and Elden Ring stickers? I've put a couple of those on a guitar I managed to pick up off of FB marketplace. Makes it feel more like my own.

I think the decal cost me a tenner I was pleasantly surprised by the quality

The decal looks really nice! Kinda wish I would have thought of something like that myself. I don't really want to personalize my PS5, as I don't know if I plan to permanently own it yet.

Ahh I get that. I wish I'd sold my PS5, but alas by the time I most needed the money I'd already split the warranty seal in order to reach parts of the fan to deep clean. Oh well.

I put an SSD in my PS3 and PS4. Probably didn't help much but I figured why not. I also bought one of the dbrand retro darkplates for my PS5 since I'm a sucker for that old N64 look:

The PS5 came with the Sony official black plates(bought it off of craigslist), but I don't like the "popped collar" look so I won't use them. Haven't found anyone that wants them either. Otherwise I'm usually not much into decals or console skins, though I'm not opposed to them either.

I’ve always been very wary about putting stickers on any of my electronics because I’m afraid they’ll overheat and melt, ruining the device’s casing. I remember being specifically told not to put anything on the base-model Switch for that very reason.

Sensible shout tbf. Anything that'd cover the vent of the device is an automatic no-go. And even the ones that don't block air flow need to be made of a decent material so that they don't leave behind a sticky residue [I'm too lazy to insert an obvious joke here]

I don't wanna dig em out right now because it would absolutely wake up the others that are sleeping right now, but I did put some decals on my PS2 and my PS4.
I saw this at a book fair at school once, and thought it was absolutely the coolest thing ever, and had to put it on my PS2 (ignore that the image is for an Xbox, I can't find any images of the PS2 version of this decal, but I can find it in other colors for some reason.)

My PS4 has this decal on it. A little after we got our PS4, my Dad saw this and thought it looked really cool and got it for me as a surprise (and I must say, I also do find it pretty cool.)

How about decals and/or stickers on controllers? I've always been a little hesitant messing with those because I'm a bit picky on the feel of a controller. I applied the controller stickers that came with Doom 2016 to a spare controller and ended up not liking the hand feel.​

I've never really messed with controller stickers outside of the PS4 decal I posted above, and I probably wouldn't put them on a controller again. The stickers themselves felt fine, especially since they weren't on like any of the grips or anything, but the bigger problem is that the stickers eventually started coming up a little around the edges. It really only happened around the top of the face buttons, but it still certainly doesn't feel great, and I have to imagine if they were any cheaper quality (they actually felt pretty decent quality) much more of the sticker would have come off by now.​
