Which user would you go on a date with?

Good afternoon all!

I don't wanna dig em out right now because it would absolutely wake up the others that are sleeping right now, but I did put some decals on my PS2 and my PS4.
I saw this at a book fair at school once, and thought it was absolutely the coolest thing ever, and had to put it on my PS2 (ignore that the image is for an Xbox, I can't find any images of the PS2 version of this decal, but I can find it in other colors for some reason.)

My PS4 has this decal on it. A little after we got our PS4, my Dad saw this and thought it looked really cool and got it for me as a surprise (and I must say, I also do find it pretty cool.)

That PS4 decal is pretty sick!

How about decals and/or stickers on controllers? I've always been a little hesitant messing with those because I'm a bit picky on the feel of a controller. I applied the controller stickers that came with Doom 2016 to a spare controller and ended up not liking the hand feel.

I've never really messed with controller stickers outside of the PS4 decal I posted above, and I probably wouldn't put them on a controller again. The stickers themselves felt fine, especially since they weren't on like any of the grips or anything, but the bigger problem is that the stickers eventually started coming up a little around the edges. It really only happened around the top of the face buttons, but it still certainly doesn't feel great, and I have to imagine if they were any cheaper quality (they actually felt pretty decent quality) much more of the sticker would have come off by now.

Music: check!
Pot: check!
(you meant weed right? Right? o_O)

And good times were had by all...

Tool have got that track called The Pot right? :P But yeah it can mean weed too. I'll pass on the joints tho, it makes me too much of a mong nowadays

What games are you bringing? I vote we play some Dark Souls or Guitar Hero

OH! Fucking GUITAR HERO! <3

Is there a USB guitar? I'd definitely (try to) sleep with someone for the chance to play that game again! Assuming that the someone was not a dude...

Yeah, that's a Tool song, but not my favorite...this one is:

PS: Don't worry, I'll smoke your share...o_-

Hell yes brother 🤘

I'm sure I've got one ol' wireless gh controller for Xbox360 knocking around here someplace...quick! find a lass to sleep with who'll lend you a spare guitar hero controller xD

A sick choice. Saw them play it a few years back and got struck

To be clear, if a pretty lass were willing, it wouldn't be the controller that made me do it...o_O
But that would certainly be an extra benefit!

I didn't know there was a X360 guitar. Would that be bluetooth, or USB dongle?

It actually doesn't matter. I live off grid, so my only computer is a Raspberry Pi 4B. As awesome as it is at 5 watts, it cannot possibly emulate PS2 games, let alone X360...

I do have my old gamer PC, but at 750 watts, my batteries would give up long before I did...also it need some maintenance. The water pump for the CPU cooler is dead...

I got to see Evanescence a few years ago, in Montebello, Canada. The first time I went to a live concert, and I'm glad I did.

:loldog Well you're already 1 for 1 on securing dates today, hopefully this means a pretty gal is coming your way soon.

I wanna say it was bluetooth?

Heard alot about Raspberry PI but not too familiar. They're the basis for the all-in-1 retro emulator MisTer I think..

There's plenty of great multiplayer games to be found on the earlier systems too!

I'd never heard that Deftones song, that was crème. My fave Deftones related thing is Chino's feat on this Lamb of God track

Also I bet Evanescence was awesome! Bit jelly, always wanted to see them. I hear Amy Lee's voice is amazing live

No, you're mistaken. The MiSTer project is a very different thing! I am not the right person to explain the difference, but I'll share my opinion:

Raspberry Pi is affordable and adaptable. MiSTer is neither. One can do many things well at low cost, the other can do ONE thing very well at twice the price, or more.

I am literally writing this post from my Pi OS desktop. I would be very surprised if there even is a MiSTer OS, and even more surprised if it were useful. I mean...sure, Debian Linux will run on just about anything, but that doesn't mean it will run well...

Sorry! /rant!

She was amazing.

New friend, I have much music to share! This is what separates us from the animals, after all!

A little more Deftones, if you want something...harder:
The reverb on that track really appeals to me.
