These pants are mall goth, at least here.
I love Siouxshie, if I were a twink I’d dress the same lmaoOh definitely, but I still prefer Alpha's super bold colors and crunchy shading.
SF3 has some insanely good designs, but it kind of started the trend of obnoxiously outlandish humanoids that they only seemingly now are moving away from.

Mall goths count but nothing compares to Queen Siouxsie, but the old-school punky goth look barely exists anymore. They're as rare as angel skeletons.

Thanks for making me want to listen to some late night Sisters of Mercy![]()

Sadly, I'm not the person to continue the Miku legacy! Are you trying to date my kids?! XD
The first thing that comes to my mind whenever i see these types of pants is Nomura and the obsession he used to have with zippers, belts and chains. These pants are mall goth, at least here.

That's what I thought when I was wearing them at 15 too. I even had the knockoff Dante trenchcoat to go with them. I cringe pretty hard about it looking back. The first thing that comes to my mind whenever i see these types of pants is Nomura.

Sure, but he sort of gets a pass (along with Dhalsim) because he was the weirdo, and still felt comparatively human due to their size.Didnt sf already have weirdos with blanka?
I never found there to be anything weird with Yoji Shinkawa's art (i think that's who you meant instead of Kojima, Kojimbo isn't the one who designs the characters in his games).True.
Nomura and Kojima, they look more and more alike.
That strange sense of fashion, including poses.
You have a point.I never found there to be anything weird with Yoji Shinkawa's art (i'm using that's who you meant instead of Kojima, Kojimbo isn't the one who designs the characters in his games).
And regarding Capcom's direction in developing games...Sure, but he sort of gets a pass (along with Dhalsim) because he was the weirdo, and still felt comparatively human due to their size.
I'm more thinking of characters like Necro, Oro, Q, Rufus, Abigail and Hakan and SFV Birdie, who all border on being almost monstrous.
Subjective in the end of course, but I never felt those kind of designs fit in Street Fighter, for various reasons I can hardly explain lol.
What? And regarding Capcom's direction in developing games...
???You have a point.
From my sight, the arguments in each series...
Just saying, don't mind me.

Sorry. What I mean is, every company has its own direction to develop anything. What?
I've always had mixed feeling on SF3's roster. I don't really care for all the odd-balls, but the more traditional fighter designs are some of the strongest in the series.Sure, but he sort of gets a pass (along with Dhalsim) because he was the weirdo, and still felt comparatively human due to their size.

Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, shares a team.Sorry. What I mean is, every company has its own direction to develop anything.
Capcom has a delight for fights, technology, and darkness.
Just saying...
I don't really understand what you mean, but I don't agree.Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, shares a team.
In a sense, they would easily put Akuma in Darkstalkers, because he is a "Dark Fighter"...
And B.B. Bulletta, in Street Fighter, because she looks more "flashing/shining" (when she is not)...
They 'play' with those concepts.
I could see Akuma in Darkstalkers as a secret boss. It would be a nice callback to Akuma as a secret boss in XMen COTA too. He has thematic overlap with Japanese Oni as well, so that could be the monster angle.Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, shares a team.

I understand, I know...I don't really understand what you mean, but I don't agree.
In Darkstalkers, everyone are fairy-tale characters, old literary monsters or mythological beings.
In street fighter everyone is either a martial artist, or a parody of a trope from action movies of various time-periods. They're not really similar at all thematically.
I think I understand what you're getting at. Elements of the monster design from Darkstalkers bleeding into Street Fighter 3?I understand, I know...
In this case, is for Street Fighter III, at least.
And... Marvel vs. Capcom.
Kind of.I think I understand what you're getting at. Elements of the monster design from Darkstalkers bleeding into Street Fighter 3?

If the internet stores things forever then will we see this thread 40 years later from now? Maybe 70 years? Who of us will be alive till then....that i dont know if you think about it generations after us might look at what we type here....we live in an age where everything is we type on the net is recorded.
We may not have touched in real life but each one of us left their touch on the other in the form of these messages that are now most likely will remain here forever for generations after us to look at how we communicated what we talked about and what our thoughts well if any of us gets to still use this site 70 years later do you promise you remember this thread? Maybe we will start a practice each year in the anniversary of this thread where each of us still checks in that they are indeed alive and well...
Me, every time I wake up ;D*How the hell did i get dragged into all this...*
