One time our DM gave us a really esoteric puzzle to get a password from a goblin who didn’t speak a human language. I said my character would shake the goblin, and so the DM responded by saying the goblin got so scared that he gave the password anyways despite the language barrier.
The only language you need is fear.

Agreed. Reminds me of a post I saw of an orc rogue that stealthed through intimidation, yelling things like "YOU DO NOT SEE GROGG!"
