Which user would you go on a date with?

Didn’t you make one Goosey?

Oooh that does make me wonder though, what was the first piece of media you remember seeing/playing that actually frightened you?
Kishin Douji Zenki (VHS/OVA).
My father was an irresponsible one.
Not frightened, but very violent at times...
First Fan Service exposed stuff to me...

No worries mate, and speaking of Robocop, I also saw the scene of Alex James Murphy being shot apart by Clarence Boddicker's gang at WAY too young an age too! My parents did not give AF about violent content lol.
Same here, my parents don't care unless it's an overtly sexual stuff. I'm already desensitized due to shit my old man watch on saturday night hahaha.

My parents never cared what I was into, either – I was watching Family Guy and The Sopranos at, like, age 3. Not that I ever asked for them, but I know they'd have had no issues buying me M-rated games or movies, either. That's one of the very few benefits of having a hippie-turned-yuppy mom and dad.

At eighteen or nineteen, I almost didn't get to play soul nomad cause I was too honest about a characters backstory.

Congrats, you've experienced the pain of rolling shitty gacha at the young age.

i got really into the whole "web horror"/creepypasta thing when i was a kid, i was a bit older then but it was way before i was in my teens. I kid you not i used to be scared shitless of slenderman back then...

Specifically it was Trish's (Tricia's) backstory.

In the summer of 2011, when Slenderman was still just an obscure internet thing, I so, so was, too. My bedroom was right next to a hill with loads of long, wispy trees, and in the dead of night, sometimes I'd swear I could see the outline of a suit...

If you're looking for an awesome Slenderman-based YouTube series, I highly recommend Tribe Twelve. It's scary as FUCK – or, at least, it was when I was 13 – and it has some really interesting additions to the Slenderman "universe", including some characters that I think are just as scary, if not moreso, than the man himself. If you're going to watch it, don't look up anything about it, just start from the first video and go from there in order. And keep the lights off, and watch it alone.

Man alive, I was so into creepypasta during the early 2010s. I loved so many of those stories I read on the Creepypasta Wiki – does anyone remember that one where all the liquid in the world disappears, except human blood? That's one of the best short stories I've ever read, professionally-published or otherwise. I remember spending a whole summer morning reading through all the Dogscape stories, too. Good times!

I was curious, as I've never even heard of the game honestly. Sounds pretty interesting tho. I like games with morality choices
Yeah I recommend Soul Nomad alot

I used to watch a lot of this content creator (still do from time to time) called Night Mind, he covers a lot of unfiction content and one of the serieses he has covered is Tribe Twelve, along with it he has covered some other popular slenderman-adjacent stuff like Marble Hornets and EveryManHybrid, i watched his series on Tribe Twelve some years ago but i don't remember much of it. I should revisit them sometimes.

I'm actually loving it a lot. It's been pretty much the same people commenting on here for the past few days. I've come to really enjoy all of you.
Glad you're having fun! Might I say I adore how that elegant PFP with hearts goes with the pink nebula banner. ::fire

Night Mind
I liked this guy, too! He introduced me to a lot of crazy horror series. I stopped watching him ages ago because I really didn't like how he presented his videos "in character", but he definitely put a lot of effort into them, and he dug up some really interesting work.
