Which translation patch were you most eagerly awaiting?

The first translation I remember anticipating was Radical Dreamers. I still remember playing the first release (which was just a short demo) not long after it came out.

Probably gonna take another decade. But here's to hoping they'll also translate the PSP version of Growlanser 1 sooner. It's the definitive version of the game with tons of new stuff.

One that came true: Final Fantasy Type-0 for the psp. I remember being super interested on it because the gameplay looked fun.

One that didn't happen (kinda): Years ago (around 7-9 years maybe?) I remember someone had been working on some Tales of translations for a long time (iirc phantasia x for psp, destiny dc for ps2, and some other games I think?), but for some reason they suddenly dropped all of their projects and disappeared from the internet. At the time I was looking forward to the Destiny DC patch because the game looked cool, so that sucked.
I know it eventually got a fan-translation by a different group of people, I'll have to check it out someday

Currently my most eagerly awaited translation is a proper translation of tengai makyou the apocalypse 4, a man can dream.

Also a translation of tengai makyou manjimaru or tengai makyou 3 would be nice.

snatcher for mega cd but unless the game is also fully uncensored - i ain't interested ( i thought some hacker would have done this by now )

Metal max 4 by far
The latest information I saw said the script was almost ready but so far nothing. Still hyped tho!
(probably one of the worst cover art on 3ds::linkmouthcover)

Fray on the Game Gear now has an English Patch!!! That brings my list down to 32 excellent games I think could use a translation so people that don't understand Japanese can enjoy them.

the one I was waiting for was Slayer for PC-98 and it´s done and out and im SOOOO happy.

I do have a few ones I hope for but might not happen in my life time because all the damn translators to damn busy translating books they call games.

Langrisser V (Which I had listed as a Saturn game) just received and English translation for the PS1 version! (I checked and PS adds a hard mode but has slightly worse music, overall I'd side with more content over slightly better music).

Also interesting is the PS1 version was part of a 2 disc set including Langrisser IV which was translated into English 10 years ago on its own lmao.

Anyways down to 31 games I'd like to see in English (2 of which are in beta, although only 1 of the betas is being worked on).

Currently the only ones I'm actively following are Moonlight Syndrome and Flower, Sun, and Rain (cause I'm a dirty little suda head). Oh and also Boku no Natsuyasumi because that game looks super cozy !!

I however love just finding random ass games on the Repo that I've never heard of and falling in love with them! First game I ever did that with was Iblard: Laputa no Kaeru Machi ! Just love trying out weird and wacky shit :-] most recently tried Jingle Cats, Wonder Trek, & Tomato Adventure and LOVED those games to death. Can't wait to see what other random ass JPN gems get translated in the future :-]

Its been out for a fat minute now but for the longest time it was Ganbare Goemon 2 for the SNES. When I was in my teens I had an english translated version that I found somewhere. I played the hell out of it and then one day had to re-initiate my old PC. I never found it again. I looked everywhere like a madman until I started to convince myself it was some Mandela Effect thing but I SWEAR TO THE GODS I had it. It was there. I WAS THERE. I PLAYED IT. CIRCA 2009.

Anyway, I was elated when DDS released their version of all the SNES games. Such a delight.

any Chinese rpg game like the legend of sword and fairy 2-5, fantasia sango, xuan-yuan sword series and etc for the pc because these game deserve to be fan translation and i wish someone just translate these obscure chinese rpg game
