Absolutely. But it also feels like artificially making the stakes higher, which I resent.
There should've been a different way to justify him raiding a place to save her...

if only he wasn't a Trump nut, but that checks out for the lord of the underworld.Hercules is awesome, James Woods voices Hades.
Let's not go with politics and let's separate the artist from the person. If only he wasn't a Trump nut, but that checks out for the lord of the underworld.
I think it's Neil Druckman's fault the way the second game turned out, people say he's a good writer as long as he's got someone to control his more radical ideas, by the second game of the series he had more creative control over the story due to his promotion at Naugthy dog and the departure of some key figures. And that's why the narrative of the second game suffered quite a bit, don't get my wrong, I don't think the second game has necessarily a bad story, it's just very poorly narrated. If they had rearranged some events of the game, cut the frequent flashbacks and presented abby in a different light the game could have been much betterThat's my biggest gripe about the game's story.
How could a vaccine even kill the person to begin with? Especially when TLoU is supposed to be a realistic view on the zombie apocalypse genre.
At least Left 4 Dead was admitting that it wasn't fully realistic.
And there was! That's the most infuriating part.Absolutely.

Amy Henning deserved better...I think it's Neil Druckman's fault the way the second game turned out, people say he's a good writer as long as he's got someone to control his more radical ideas, by the second game of the series he had more creative control over the story due to his promotion at Naugthy dog and the departure of some key figures. The worst part is that some of the writing on 2 is downright genius... There are nice environmental details like finding out that some dumb bastards had tried to rob a bank during the outbreak and had found themselves left to starve in the vault. There's also a bit about a ship's captain trying to impose quarantine at sea that could have easily been left out, but the game's all the richer for it.I think it's Neil Druckman's fault the way the second game turned out, people say he's a good writer as long as he's got someone to control his more radical ideas, by the second game of the series he had more creative control over the story due to his promotion at Naugthy dog and the departure of some key figures. Batman pretty much ever game but for the sake of this question Arkham Knight.
Not the first time that has happened in a Disney film, but I think it was one of the last animated theatrical Disney films to do so.A Disney movie showing a cigar?
No it didn't, nor did any of the sequels. Jennifer's death is less of a "kill them, and you'll be just like them", and more a of tragic twist and a subversion of always rescuing the love interest/girlfriend. Namco did that, because nearly every game at the time had a happy ending where the girl gets saved.the old splatterhouse arcade game
*Snatches a copy*.Me when I look at my reflection in Pikmin after ethnic cleansing the entire pikmin race
This is so Amos Burton from the Expanse coded. My favourite variation of the trope is when the protagonist stops the deuteragonist from killing the big bad by telling them that they should have blood in their hand so he'll handle it.
I was thinking of this scene when I've written this post. This is so Amos Burton from the Expanse coded.
Unless said guys are elite mooks/the antagonist's lieutenants. As another variation of this trope, I hate wading through the sea of dead bad guys only to be beset upon by like...three dudes in a cutscene and the character surrenders.
Just like another actor who played a role in a Hercules adaptation, Kevin Sorbo (who played Herc himself in both the TV movies and full-length show of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys).if only he wasn't a Trump nut, but that checks out for the lord of the underworld.
I try that sometimes, but other times I have no choice, but to say fuck off to a person who is that shit or a scumbag.Let's not go with politics and let's separate the artist from the person.
I mean Greek Mythology is pretty nuts in itself. Zeus especially. lolJust like another actor who played a role in a Hercules adaptation, Kevin Sorbo (who played Herc himself in both the TV movies and full-length show of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys).
What is it with Greek Mythology and certain actors who portrayed certain characters turning out to be batshit crazy?
AND THEN ALONG CAME ZEUSI mean Greek Mythology is pretty nuts in itself. Zeus especially. lol
