How's fbeo with automatic frame delay for STGs? My pi 3b+ cant handle running premotive frames...

I've been using it to go for a 1cc in gunbird and it's not feeling bad, then again I havent played the ps2 version in a while because I use save states to learn the game faster

I still ask myself why the M2 Shot Triggers ports aren't avaliable on PC.

Maybe the devs are just allergic to money.
Either that, that PC is tricky to port on or just that they have contracts.

I am a fan of the Raiden franchise, Ikaruga, and Soldier Blade.
I need to get into the Raiden series someday... Same with Darius outside of G-Darius.

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IM A HUGE GRADIUS/SALAMANDER FAN RIGHT HERE!!!

I played:

Gradius (1985)
Salamander (1986)
LifeForce JP (1987)
Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou (1988)
Salamander II (1997)
Gradius IV: Fukkatsu (1999)

I'm a huge fan of the other Gradius series, and even though it's labeled as a Spinoff, I still think that Gradius Gaiden is the definitive Gradius IV and that the actual one is just a spinoff of Gradius II or something due to how "2.5" the game feels like, being a mixture of Gradius II and III and whatnot. I know Spinoffs are supposed to introduce new ways to play on the series you're basing it on, but with Gradius Gaiden, they did too much for it to be considered a mere spinoff. I wished this game was an Arcade entry...

holy shit, Mals? New user? What happen? 😭

if Mals is so great, What is your high scores for Otomedius Excellent and Gorgeous?
I haven't played them personally, but I find them to be a little bit weaker than the Parodius series by the looks of it. It does have better Gradius Gaiden representation though and making Gofer two girls is funny

I have never made a video regarding such. Perhaps you're remembering when I streamed the series here once? Cause I do remember that. I'll be sure to play Otomedius sometime in the future (and maybe even review them given that I've reviweed a good chunk of Gradius games so far)

I've been playing them for a while now, and while I may never 1CC one of them, I like the series enough that I'm making one of my own. Not a Gradius game, but a Gradius-inspired indie game with Rougelike mechanics. There's a tie-in I'm also working on with this one, but I prefer to now talk about my projects less and actually develop them since for a while now, I have gotten nowhere with any of them.
