When it comes to character creation, do you prefer a boy or a girl?

Almost always girls.

I find girl characters more charismatic in general, and options to create a male character usually aren't interesting for me.

For example I wanted to make a guy in DBZ Xenoverse 2 after playing a couple girl characters, the designs were pretty ugly.

It's rare that I find a character creation that allows me to make a male character I like (some of those exceptions being the Saint's Row games and Nioh 2 for example).

Male because when the character gets hit or something the female character moans like she is getting fucked. It's kinda ridiculous that

I couldn't play Litchi in Blazblue with my window open, neighbours would have had the wrong idea.

I tend to default to guy, unless there are game events or things that are unique to the gal.
Like in Fallout 1, 2 & NV.

I always choose to play as a girl so I can customize her in as many cute ways as I can, almost like a dress-up game.

Completely dependent on the game art style and character design.

Only go for guy character if he has sick armors sets during mid to late game like Monster Hunter
If not then it's the ladies for me

It depends on the game, but I'll usually choose a female character. Generally, the only times I do not are when the female clothing options are nothing but stripper outfits or when the canon has a male as the lead. I will make males if it's a game where multiple characters for different builds are a thing, like the Souls games. I'm lazy with character creators and just choose a preset, sometimes changing the hair or something. I also give all my characters unique names that I've never used before.

Male except in Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3. Not sure why, it's just an automatic choice. Even my DnD character is male ?

Usually boys but oh man, it's extremely complicated for me, be right back I'm gonna make a chart.

I'm sorry, took me 20 minutes.

Girls for the most part, as long as they aren't ugly af.

Sometimes, like for Pokemon games, I play as a guy.

It really depends on the game. If it's supposed to be me than I pick the boy. If it's just a character that I make than I often pick the girl.

ex. I always choose the male characters in Pokemon. But when I used to play PSO2 back in the day (god it's been so long) I played as a girl.

I don't really care, tend to choose boy because I am one but sometimes I'll pick a woman on a whim. universally, however male or female I make the ugliest most unattractive person possible in the game and dress them in the most ridiculous outfits (or lack of) possible. it cracks me up to be running around a world fighting monsters in underwear or being some abomination who's having the most attractive characters in the game pining over my character with romance options. it's the little things in life that provide me the most entertainment.

Type B.

Bad jokes aside I like bulky armours.

I rarely play as female unless it's a specific class like the Siren in BL or the Ramarl/Hucaseal in PSO.

Male because when the character gets hit or something the female character moans like she is getting fucked. It's kinda ridiculous that
I remember the female pain sound from HL² being misused like that.

Depends on the game's aesthetics, character models, customization. armor, if it's multiplayer/singleplayer and just what other designs from media may be influencing my decision. In Final Fantasy XIV, I'm a max height male Roegadyn towering over everyone in Limsa Lominsa. In Dragon's Dogma 2, I'm Jennifer Connelly.

Dude. I usually try to create my self in games.

It often depends on the game and how characters/equipment look but I usually make male characters.

It depends on so many factors. I tend to roleplay my characters and I often do runs as pre-established characters, so a big part of it tends to be based on which one I'm inspired to play. However, as a general tendency... I usually lean towards female characters. Both of my most prominent characters are female, one of which is effectively an 'idealized' self insert.

I'll probably say a quote that is the antithesis of class which was: "If I have to watch someone's behind for hours it'd be rather a nice looking woman's than a random dude's."
