I am trying to remember the date I got my Super Nintendo from wall anty that came with do key king country. I believe it was in 1995 because I remember getting do key king country 2 new when it was new at Disneyland and I had it for a while before this.

MY first console was an Atari 2600, this had to be 91 or 92 because my mom was still around. My mom hated video games, I guess my dad was an addict when he had his NES and she didn't allow video games in the house. I was so excited I got it, but she immediately called my dad and told him to come get it. So I had to wait for the weekends to go play. I only had 2 games E.T. and Pitfall, but those were so much fun.

Depending on what you mean with console:

My first "Console" was a Famiclone called PC Kid ALL the way back to 2001, when it haven't had a plugged cartridge, you could access a "Operative System" with Edutainment games, i miss you 64 in 1 cart

Real console must be a chipped PSX in 2010 (our income was kinda low) that came with Crash Bandicoot 1, Metal Slug X and a Scooby Doo Crash Rip-off

An Atari 2600 Jr around 1986. The console model was new (and "under fifty bucks!" according to the television advertisement). However, I assume my parents got a couple dozen game carts because they were gathering dust in bargain bins. The highlights included Demon Attack, Pitfall, River Raid, and Centipede. I can play these games now for a few minutes each.

I won’t call you old probably legendary I never saw an Atari 2600 irl.🔥_🔥
Legendary I like the sound of that

My first console was the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. My favorite games were Batman Returns, Super Metroid, Contra 3, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox, Killer Instinct, UMK 3, TMNT: Turtles In Time & Tournament Fighters. I would pack it in my TMNT suitcase & bring it along where I went. Good times.

I remember Donkey Kong Country 3 was available around when Batman & Robin was in theaters.

My own personal console that I didn't have to share with my parents? Would be the Gameboy Advance SP right at the beginning so that makes it the summer of '03. Was Fire Brick Red and I had it up until this spring when I sold it to my boss for his nostalgia collection. It's fine with me I got a DS that can still play GBA games.

if archaic computers like TI994a or Commodore 64 don't count - I ignored Atari 2600 since I preferred the arcade versions even if it was a more expensive proposition potentiaLLy... like RageBurner, my first was an SMS in '86 though me n a neighbor friend would switch out our NES/SMS' with each other temporariLy many a time
