There's one Pokemon that stole my heart and was bewitched too from the moment I saw it, and it's Hatterene. It feels like the embodiment of all kinds of notches in design that I adore and it culminates into one singular being that is just perfection in my eyes. The witch hat, the mischievous and always cunning face it has in the anime, the fact it's actually a very tiny sprite or pixie under all that long coat like shape, and her gigantic hand that stems from the hat.

If I'm allowed to name a 2nd though, it's none other than Litten itself. My baby boy who I always refuse to evolve. The later stages did not appeal to me in the slightest and I always loved how it was perceived that this cat was introverted and it was easy for me to be gripped by that.
Always in my games I have him in my party, I still remember the time in Pokemon Moon where he one-shot a Salamence from the Elite 4, that's my baby boy.

Also pretty sure I have like 6 different plushies of him around my room.

Skews towards grass and electric quite heavily lmao. Shinx probably should have had the S slot since it was my first natural shiny caught, but skeptile was my first starter in a Pokémon game ever so the chubby boi took it.

I'm one of those basic bitches that love Mewtwo to death.

There's just something about his alien design; his overwhelming aura and the fact that, even though it's not really stated, him and Mew are undoubtedly the strongest mons in gen 1 both in lore and gameplay, and probably gen 2 as well.
There's just no other Pokemon with whom you could have said: "Yeah, this dude is the strongest guy in this franchise" with complete confidence. Rayquaza had to compete that spot with Deoxys in gen 3, and Arceus is just God, so even though he is the strongest, it's just kinda lame. Every Pokemon after gen 4 just couldn't be called "the strongest" since Arceus was hogging that title, again, on the basis that he's god.

It's a really weird reason to love a Pokemon so much, but
its a reason valid enough for me.

BUT, I'd be a liar if I said I don't have an equally soft spot for Mewtwo's crack addicted cousin: Deoxys.

It's an alien. A shapeshifting alien that looks vaguely threatening and ominous.

And also the living DNA of a space virus that we don't know anything about (at least in gen 3, no clue if the remakes clarified what this guy is meant to be).

Mysterious, cool as fuck, and probably the strongest mon in the generation he was introduced in. KINDA LIKE MEWTWO
