the main drawback is that the sub weapons are useless. the whip does nearly everything the sub weapons do. long range, diagonal hits, multi-hits. and the striking color design from the first game is gone. everything had specific colors due to the limited color pallet, and blue and orange are the main colors used, so nearly everything popped out and was eye catching.I don't like Super Castlevania 4.
