No I watched OG Dragonball when I was 25 in 2007. One of my workers kids loved that and z so I started watching it with them. Anime of what I can tell(or maybe I was old) wasn't big here in Australia(well where I'm from)though I did watch some bleach on pay tv here or there at the time

Also, if you enjoyed this anime, you might also like Mushi-shi, which shares a similar aesthetic and is also a very nice, humanistic, and peaceful anime.

Man, Trigun is such an underrated masterpiece. It's weird how so few people talk about it.

I remember watching 1/4 of it and then dropped. I loved the artstyle, the action was really cool, but remembering how were some cringe moments with Vash I'm not sure if nowadays return on it lol. But it's the same reason I wouldn't dare much with Slam Dunk, even if both are great classics.

I'm into reading more than watching, but I can still name a few. Maybe not the "best ever", but definitely some of my favorites:

• Little Witch Academia. LWA just has a weird nostalgic component for me that is just- it feels like it takes everything I loved as a kid and turned it into a show, lol.
• Nausicäa of the Valley of the Wind (And the manga expands the story wonderfully)
• Revolutionary Girl Utena
• Ghost in the Shell, but I maybe liked the manga more than the anime
• Battle Tendency, Jojo's (But my favorite part is Steel Ball Run)
• Rose of Versailles, thought again, I favor the manga
• Fist of the North Star
• Saint Seiya

I think the list will be too long if I keep like this lol

It is cute, has some really heartfelt moments, has great animation & comedy and is just a lot of fun to watch. It even has a handful of scenes that I re-watch on occasion.
