Well, for quite some time people were debating if the $70~$80 pricetag would be the new industry standard and it looks like they were right, but I never spected Nintendo of all people to kickstart it. Not they would never do it but they never struck me as the pricy option, this is Sony's territory.

Gaming died when it stopped being "entertainment business" and became only business.

Well, after years of console gaming I guess I'm a full fledge PC gamer now.

Okay, snarky joking aside, I understand it takes time, money, and effort to make these games; I know they aren't cheap to produce. Unless you're talking about rehashing a game to work on emulation, then no, screw you. A full-fledged AAA game takes millions to make and sometimes years.

But with everything going digital, they are saving on packaging and shipping. That right there should offset the cost, so they don't need to raise the price.

It's almost like they have insurance on the 'Download' button in case it breaks
