Here's my pick! "Dex"-Enhaced version by Badland Games/Dreadlock on PSVita!
Spoiler and warning: THE GAME CRASHES EVERY 30 minutes of play, no matter what you do, unreadable UI, long-loading level, stuttering and slow-downs are continual and breaks the gameplay!! Game data with the update is clearly bloated and occupy 3GB (veery expensive in terms of Vita card, although some manual trim can be achieved) Someone was really excited to allow the game reach the digital store bypassing QA as a real pro! It is clear that Vita releases at its final era didnt receive the attention and budget...A real pity...
I was really intrigued to play some cyberpunk-themed game on the Vita and i wanted to discover by myself, as usually, i disagree with commons Top10, i understand VitaPlayer 4-score review... although Metacritic's 62 score is more aproximate to my personal opinion.
After the initial disappoitment for the $$, and after some clarity-of-mind with the flaws, I have dedicated the christmas week to the game, and reached one ending (...), and also completed more than a 60-70% of the missions with a rank-10... for me seems a fair time
The gameplay follows the trail of '60 sci-fi/cyberpunk/paranoia writing (Gibson, K.Dick..) and the '90 genre 2D-style: Another World/Flashback mixed with simple RPG-levelling/point-and-click adventure but there's also the "cyberspace twin-stick sections" a'la System Shock (only game with cyberspace navigation that i know, at least) homage which seems the developer were trying to achieve by naming the main character "D(eus-)EX" (whoooaaa, or am i getting short ¿?).
Although the game maybe doesnt deserves that rant, for me it has been the worst experience i've ever played!! i usually cant spend time researching "making-of" articles of EVERY game im interested, but its clear that production didnt go as expected, there's even there's a in-game "obituary" dedicated to the main designer, (ugh),
