What would you declare as "The Worst Game" on any given platform?

NES - 'Action 52' is my choice also, especially "games" in it like 'MYONG' and 'LOLLIPOP'... Shudders.

Yaris (2007) for the xbox 360. It's basically Toyota free shovelware to get You buy theirs cars. Because of course the Yaris have an metal claw on the ceiling
It's a soulless advert, but it functioned as a game mostly, there has got to be worse trash then that.

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue on the n64 may be worse than Superman...

Just threw up in my mouth a little.

Contra Legacy Wars on PSX I remember being dog water. Also that Gollum game that dropped last year is so incompetently made that they even forgot to add in sound effects when he dies!

People are being rude towards Atari ET but mostly because of the context and not the game itself.

I think that this strawberry shortcake game on the same hardware is a bigger fraud as a "video game" than ET that at least tried to be somewhat a game.

Honestly, Sonic '06's crime is that Sonic Team didn't put their foot down on Sega's corporate meddling when they pushed too hard to have the game rushed out for the holiday season
I'd argue that even if it got delayed for 2007 it would still have many issues (especially regarding other characters, the story and overall tone of the game).

And I cannot ever accept this infamous scene:

While not the "Worst", a definite downgrade I can name easily is Altered Beast. Like, yeah, in terms of gameplay, not much is too noticeably different from the Gen/MD version and the original Arcade release, but HOOO BOY, those voice samples were bitcrushed to hell and back.

Did you know that Altered Beast also had a Famicom release? Wouldn't it have been wild if we got it on the NES as well?

The answers gonna have to be some of the "barely a game" stuff on the 2600. Ignoring the edutainment material there's games like Sneak n Peek, where you have about a dozen spots to hide in a sparse house, and the other player needs to cover their eyes until it's their turn to find you. Added bonus, a squeaky chiptune rendition of Home! Sweet Home! plays the entire time.

I have great memories of playing the Genesis/Megadrive Altered Beast at a friend's house (the only Family I knew who owned a Sega Master System in person) and while not optimal, The Famicom One was alright, not award winning that's for sure, but at least it's not Bad Street Brawler

We kinda went with Mystique's entire catalog out of Principal.

For Game Boy Advance I would definitely say Mega Man Zero, this game was a torture for me, I tried to beat it many times but no, this game has an unbearable difficulty (for me), this game is the most “worst” game for me.
