What was your first PC game?

i remember playing basically any games that came with a Win7 (or Vista) computer (3D pinball, minesweeper, purble place etc.). i would also say games on WildTangent, but i don't even remember those games, so my first mainstream game would have to be Wizard101.

The first pc game I can remember playing is a disney edutainment game. I don't know what it was called but I think it had multiple games and the one I can remember most vividly had a city theme to it... I think it was at night too..?

I don't remember the name, I only remember that you control a ship in first person and you have to explore a 3D maze destroying other ships, I think it was a demo because I never got past the second level.

Space cadet Pinball for the Windows XP, i remember playing this so much in my father's computer when i have like five or six years old :p

Could it have been Descent?

Don't remember.
Probably World of Goo or Lucius.

Whenever boot up my Windows machine, I always play it.

Damn the picture I picked for this is huge, good lord.

I wish I remembered the answer to this. I had a PC from pretty much birth but of corse I couldn't use it until 3ish years later when my dad showed me the games on it.

I remember the computer not booting into an OS at all, it would just boot into a list of games and I would play that.

What games? Don't remember. The ones I DO remember playing though are Tomb Raider 2, Unreal, Thief, Sonic CD and Panzer Dragoon.

I could say a CD with Empire Earth that my older brother gave it to me when i was 9 and it didn't last too long and that was the first and last PC game in physical that i had
For some reason he just dropped the disk like some frisbee he told me that the cd just doesn't work anymore i took a very good care and barely touched the cd because we have the game installed on our computer
To this day i don't know if my brother was messing with me or he was trying something that didn't work

Holy cow, it is. I don't know how you discovered it considering the very vague description I wrote. thank you
You're welcome!

It is a known classic, and there aren't many games like it except for the sequels (and Forsaken, an Acclaim game), so it wasn't difficult to guess.

Well, not counting games that came bundled with win98, we had a cd with many small games!
Many of them were from Microsoft Entertainment Pack, and some were indie... (not that we could tell the difference at that time!)
I still have them, and here's list of them with their screenshot as a memento of them... what times it was!

I thanks @Clippy again for finding its name for me!

3-D TableSports

Three games in one! was pretty neat!

You can say, all of them were my first pc games ever!
I wonder if some of them can be found in internet anymore...

Edit:
Now they can be found! ?
I have uploaded them to Game Share Hub except dos ones which i don't have them currently, but those are easy to find in internet.
Is Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Win 3.11? I remember playing most of the games in the screenshot.

My first 486 DX4 100 PC was bundled with Sierra Games (King's Quest Anthology and INCA). So those are my first ever games.

PC games installed usually like Minesweeper and Ski or Solitaire. But in terms of owning a game with a physical disc. Robot Arena. Been a big combat robot fan and I was so dumb enough to get this game thinking it would be just like the show. It wasn't.

Digger, and the 1983 version in particular:

Video game, first person ship, 3D Maze; google caught it with the first hit. But, Descent is a well revered series from the early 3D era, and there weren't that many 6DOF games that jammed you in a maze.

The next closest contenders might've been Terminal Velocity or Forsaken, possibly Colony Wars if you had some mnemonic drift going on.

I didn't have access to a home computer outside of school til the windows xp era.
I think my first game I got was Blade Runner.

I want to say San Andreas but I think I was playing browser games before that.

I was all about those browser games, but actual games I had to install; I think Zoo Tycoon 2? I still have the CDs for that one.

Discounting the games that came included with Windows XP, it was either Backyard Baseball or one of those JumpStart edutainment games. We're talking 24 years ago so I don't remember 100% which I got or played first, I just know they were two of the first because I remember my dad bought them for me.

Very likely Commander Keen or another shareware game i can't fully remember (possibly Crystal Caves)

My first PC game was a kinda shitty top down view racing game that I was gifted as a child and whose name I don't really remember. The first one I actually remember the name of was Ultimate Doom

I'm pretty sure it was a game called Math Blaster, but I'm not sure which version. I think it's the one from 1990.
