VITA what should i do with this thing

I am 99.9% sure portable ops works on vita
Never tried it myself, but I read that it was incompatible on an online compatibility list. If that list was wrong I might reconsider getting a Vita.

Like other people said, EVERYTHING. Especially Graivty Rush and Metal Gear Solid 3. I know MGS3 is anime in traditional sense and not an RPG, but it's a one of a kind experience. I like to keep a copy of it on my consoles.

The only reasonable choice, of course!

As a side note, play Salt and Sanctuary if you don't mind Souls-likes. It's a pretty good game.

i like the brand cohesion here and also i do love soulslikes this entire psv rabbit hole happened because of soulslike really.

strong point of the Vita is visual novels and JRPGs
Amagami, Air, Clannad
Vanillaware games, and NIS games

id not bother with emulation as long as you have Vita games you wanna check out
i suggest limiting the amount of games you put on it to around 5, that way you spend time playing instead of collecting

if you are using OLED model and your screen has green tint, you can calibrate most of it with vitabright
also modding it is kinda tough, often things dont work and you have to scout for weird versions

IMPORTANT: get sd2vita going as soon as possible, original memory cards fail often

this plays much better either on PC or PS4/XBone
games very gorgeous on maxed out graphics.

oh ok thx, i beat the base version on vita ages ago but it felt unfinished so i think ill give the PS4 ultimate version a go

this list is an actual godsend thank you so much ;u; fft is one of those things i've been telling myself i'm gonna totally love... eventually. so i am excited to have a very good reason to finally play it !!
to note the "remaster" does add in a mostly better visual and fully voice acted game (like all dialogs) and additional dialog in fights, and an actual difficulty setting, if you wanna make it easier (or harder) plus a bunch of quality of life, fast forward, autosaves (3 during fights aka you can go back turns) skipping random encounters by choice (like, hit circle on a fight popup), and retreating from fights/restarting is as simple as "start, restart/retreat"

but since its missing all PSP version exclusive content...
you need to do some research to see if it's worth not having the 2 more characters, 2 more job classes, and a bunch of added story/side events
to be fair FFT is easy to break, regardless of version.
i've gotten 5 LV99 characters within like 20 hours of the PSP game lol just slapping a chocobo with rocks and it healing itself on loop. theres no fast forward on PSP to be clear. also maxed ALL their jobs entirely.
