What is your First Strategy Video Game?/¿Cuál es tu Primer Videojuego de Estrategia?

I guess technically it was this game:

But to be honest I still don't really understand how it works properly or even how to finish any of the maps.

The first strategy game I really got into though was:

I still remember the day we bought it. It was my first time being allowed to pick a game from the computer store and as soon as I saw it I picked it right away even though I had no idea what kind of game it was. I spent the whole car ride back going through the manual over and over again just blown away by all the art and everything. It seemed like the coolest game ever. And it was pretty cool and I loved it and played the hell out of it and then eventually we got Warcraft 2 and it was even better.
Thank you for telling your story, friend and the one from Godzilla from NES, I only played the first installment which was Beat Em' Up in 2D and the First Warcraft I didn't have the opportunity to play it at that time.

Not my favourite, but definitely my first.

And if you're not cool with that, then: OLOLOLOLO

Now you are...

Yeah that second one is totally different. I don't think it's a bad game necessarily just hard and confusing.

The Battle Realms I didn't get to play it at that time but it's good that it's your first strategy game while the GBA Fire Emblem I have played it and it's one of the best strategy games and the saga in general.
Played it back when I was in 4th grade and my cousin had a copy and installed it on our Win98ME. Maybe my first ever RTS prior to Warcraft 2 on PS1.

Fire Emblem was on of the first games I tried emulating via VBA on the Emuparadise days.

Thanks for the tip, my friend, and also that I miss Emuparadise a lot, although there are alternatives such as the Internet Archive and The Repo, for example.

Warcraft orcs and humans back in 1994 but also Baldies in 1995 does for like my first to ever.
As of first ever Turn based strategy I can come to think of was probably Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest in 1995.

This one was probably the first strategy game that i really enjoy. I don't remember what was the first strategy game i ever played.
I don't know if I played this game on the SNES and/or the Genesis version because I didn't know that this game also had a version for the NES.

And for some reason 4 Megabits is equivalent to 512KB.

I haven't played this game but it doesn't look bad although Commandos 1 is better according to most players.
It's really good and very entertaining and you have to think very logically to win.Oh man, how many times I've lost! But the great thing about it is that you're always trying to get better.

This one... damn, I kind of want to play it again.

Man, the memories.
A pretty good strategy game for the time along with Civilization which is also by Sid Meier.

Also Conflict for NES...though won't lie I forgot its name till I saw it posted here.

FAVORITE Strategy series: SUPER ROBOT WARS/TAISEN. My first introduction to it was the only english release from the OG gba games (stupid licensing issue) and played almost ever version since. LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH IT IS MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE SERIES OF ALL TIME.

An emulated version of the SNES port of Sid Meier's Civilization played on ZSNES was my first strategy game. Also started my love for the Civilization series lol.

And as a curiosity about the GameCube game that is the Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is that I played it back in 2007 and also that my dad also played it and I think he finished it at some point although it took him time to complete it, while I played it to a certain extent. And also that the disc was pirated but it was still the original game and was playable from start to finish.
