Well, My First Strategy game I've played is without a doubt this one:
Bueno, Mi Primer Juego del género de Estrategia que he jugado es sin lugar a dudas este:

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GC, 2005)

Also known as/También conocído como: Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki en Japón/in Japan.

The first one I saw was Age of Empires on my old cousin's PC/El primero que vi fue el Age of Empires en el PC de mi primo mayor.
I haven't played the AOE saga, but I've heard a lot of positive things about this franchise.

No he jugado a la saga de AOE pero he oido muchas cosas positivas de esta franquicia.

Warcraft 2 was my first strategy game and my first RTS. Its a really fun game, I love that if you click the sheep too much they explode! ::eggmanlaugh
For your first strategy game it's great although I honestly never got to play it.

If we're counting RTS games it was Dune 2. Otherwise Final Fantasy Tactics, which is how I learned I suck at strategy.
You have good tastes friend and I understand that the Strategy genre is not for everyone because of how difficult it is to master in the following levels.

Warcraft II, followed by the Age of Empires games and Shogun 2.

whoa.. that games expensive now i hear.. my first were shining force, warsong (langrisser), and nobunaga's ambition on the sega genesis/ mega drive... then i got the snes and discovered ogre battle and inindo... damn.. i have the rom of path of radiance but havent tried it yet.. then i discovered all of the systemsoft games like master of monsters, dai senryaku etc

You have a great discovery of the strategy games dude. 👍🏻👍🏻

I guess technically it was this game:

But to be honest I still don't really understand how it works properly or even how to finish any of the maps.

The first strategy game I really got into though was:
Warcraft-Orcs-and-Humans-Big-Box-PC-CD-1863720257.webp
I still remember the day we bought it. It was my first time being allowed to pick a game from the computer store and as soon as I saw it I picked it right away even though I had no idea what kind of game it was. I spent the whole car ride back going through the manual over and over again just blown away by all the art and everything. It seemed like the coolest game ever. And it was pretty cool and I loved it and played the hell out of it and then eventually we got Warcraft 2 and it was even better.

also the mega drive strategy/ mech game vixen 357 from masaya ( langisser devs) has an english patch now.. its like the og sakura wars game.. oh shit.. sakura wars! thats great too

I think it was "Submarine Titans". A strategy game in deep sea, very interesting and cool. It has an awesome editor with its own language. Good memories in that 2003 year.
