What is y'all favourite "bad" game

I think it was already my choice, on a similar topic :

I admit it's an ugly and repetitive game. But I had so much fun (I have a twisted sense of humour, I confess) that I finished it four or five times (on three different platforms).

The director of the Sonic movies actually started out doing animation for this game.
Those movies are some of the few where I've watched it with director's commentary, and yeah. He did!

That is one of the more replayable games I've ever played, purely for its post-game unlocks. I don't know many other games that let you unlock and swap out character models/animations for new game+!

Dirge of Cerberus
Awful story and boring cutscenes with mediocre gameplay still fun though.

yeah i actually enjoyed Dirge of Cerberus as well
i remember the camera & controls being half the battle
FFX-2 is another "bad" game i kinda liked 😬
dont tell anyone though

Mine would have to be Jim Power The Lost Dimension in 3D.

This is the SNES port of a 2D action platformer on the Amiga. It's not very good for many reasons. One of the worst parts is the visuals. They messed up the parallax scrolling in the SNES version. The background just doesn't move the right way. Some people can't even look at the first stage without getting ill. It arguably gets worse during the shooting stages where the screen never stops scrolling. It's really distracting even if it doesn't provoke a visceral response.

The difficulty is also pretty brutal and requires a lot of trial and error memorization. You die in one hit and have limited continues to beat the game with. I've beaten it on emulator with save states between levels, but even then it was really hard.

The game isn't all bad. The soundtrack was composed by Chris Hueslbeck of Turrican fame and was really good. The music for the first stage gets some flak because it sounds really similar to the lava cave theme in Y's 3. I like the Amiga versions better, but the SNES has a few exclusive tracks that sound decent. Some of the SNES exclusive stages are also kind of alright if a bit heavily deriving from the top-down stages in Contra 3.

If I had to explain why I like it, I guess it would be a combination of the soundtrack and the really horrible scrolling. It's weirdly charming in spite of the rather tedious difficulty. Here's a longplay if you're curious.
Can't watch the video without getting violently ill...but...that music sounds so familiar...

Think I remember hearing that X-2's job system was actually quite good, which would at least make for the nice brain chemicals you get for watching some synergy come together. No shame, this is a safe place.

Deadly Premonition.Maybe not that bad but let´s say underrated.Flawed and sometimes so bad it´s good. You either love or hate it there is no between.Twin Peaks,Xfiles,Resident Evil,Silent Hill crossover and damn it is strange....

It does feel like a mix of all of those things and yet manages to really stand as its own thing by the end. Deadly Premonition is such a fascinating game.

I know it's a really bad game in many aspects but I still love it.
The Story of this game is actually pretty decent if a bit tropy, my issue with this game, I found it not fun, it was clunky to play and levels weren't interesting to play and fight enemies and especially bosses for the most part was pretty dreadful

The Hyperdimension Neptunia series. None of the games are particularly great in any way (especially the first few RPGs), but I can't help but love it regardless. It's entertainingly bad in a way that few other games are, to me.

I'll always have a soft spot for Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 though. It was my entry into the series, and the first RPG I played after I got my PS3. It was also kind of a gateway to finding other games, with the amount of meta references to other game franchises.

Even though it has flaws, I love Final Fantasy XIII. The game is absolutely hated in some parts of the FF community though. I love, love, LOVE the combat system. The game looked amazing when it first came out, and the soundtrack has some good stuff. They did some interesting things with its two sequels too.

I also think Sonic Forces and Mega Man X7 get more hate than they actually deserve. I think Mega Man X6 committed more sins, yet it has its merits as well.

I also agree with PhrawzT, the Crazy Castle games were simple fun and addicting.
