That game was such a beautiful mess. I genuinely wish that the PC version wasn't still unplayable (last time I checked at least) due to that "Games for Windows Live" error like a lot of other lesser Capcom games as well.
The only thing that comes to my head right now is running Ninja Gaiden Black challenge runs back in the day, stuff like beating the game with only specific weapons on Mentor. I did the Lunar, dabilahro, flails, and I think I probably had to have done the dragon sword too of course. Could never beat Master Ninja difficulty due to the bullshit second Alma fight, though.
i enjoyed DMC5 but yeah, I bet some of those later S ranks requirements were pretty damn strict.
I found Spider-Man a slog to play near the end, where you've gotta go around waiting for the map to spawn in those vehicles for you to disables so you can take on the thugs. Still, all in all a mighty fine game. Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't shout-out Spider-Man on the PS1 - Still one of the best Superhero games out there in my books :)
I posted some of my achievements in another thread before but I'm too lazy to find it, to mention some of them:
- Ghost run + no kill + blind first play + no guide + no save scumming + hardest difficulty in many stealth games (in addition to extra challenges like no power in Dishonored, or SASO in Hitman, and so on).
- 100% completion on Pokemon Sapphire minus exclusive event stuff without guide, I also had 198 - 1 win record.
- Used to constantly stay at top 10 or top 16 on regional Tekken tournament. I can play with feet too.
- I can use Juri in SF4 blindfolded.
- I own most businesses in GTA Online by diligently rob stores and sell cars every day, no heist.
- Got 3 stars in all but one case in LA Noire, no guide as usual.
- I finished TMNT on NES when I was 5.
- Might not count, helped a friend do Gran Turismo 4 A-Spec Nurburgring 24 hour race, I only drove at most 2 hours in total tho haha.
Damn, you guys accomplished something great! Anyway, mine is pretty recent but beating Invader on the GBA. Beating a game isn't that crazy of course, but man it felt like a great accomplishment, especially when the game is quite hard
Another one is Wipeout Pure, I've made a thread about it a month ago here. Basically I was just racing like usual and keep trying after losing. When I thought I'd lose again though, the ranking shows that I was actually first, with the same time! It was unbelievable but I'm glad I've finally won
Most recently, finally completing all campaigns of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, reaching 192 hours of gameplay. Probably for younger me 192h in a game would not be a big deal, but nowadays it almost took me 2 years!
-Finished Super Mario Bros. the Lost Levels at age 5
-Getting over 1,000 points in the hardest difficulty in Turtles in Time Arcade, over 1400 points in the SNES version on Hard mode
-Completed Link's Awakening remake in under 7 hours on release day
-Completed The Simpsons Arcade game at age 10
-Completed the Japanese version of The Legend of Zelda on an actual Famicom Disk system while it was a bit glitchy.
-Completed Mega Man for the first time at age 13 without using the pause trick on the Yellow Devil or any other bosses.
I don't have the console with me anymore since i lent it to a friend but my favourite accomplishment is completing ALL the caravan quests in monster hunter 4 ultimate... which includes Advanced: The Master's Test.
Das brutal. I mean they all are, but damn. I completed Earthworm Jim when I was around that age, maybe a couple years older. I felt like a champ for that.

I went to a music festival a couple years back with the Simpsons Arcade game cabinet (among others) and unlimited continues. Two dear friends and I completed it, but it took like 80+ virtual credits xD Well done!
Also, screw Yellow Devil lol
I used to sucked at it too lmao, but learning the curve, speed and control like the thrust to the left and right, made it so much easier. I never thought I could actually beat most of the tournament

I can only imagine what kind of Herculean task that musta been haha, but you did it! It's not the same I'm sure, but I collected 10 of every monster and rinsed the hell out if every fiend in Final Fantasy X's Monster Arena, Twice! That felt damn good
It was my first time playing Vagrant Story, I didn't read the manual so I just go ahead with the game, I end up with a rough playthrough because my strategy was use Chains Combos againts everything it moves.
I get stuck on top of the Cathedral with a dragon. To beat him I made various Chains until I made my longest one with 37 hits with maximum Risk and using my strongest spear, my hands were shaking after that hehe.
Unfortunately I can't prove it, because my memoricard leave me years ago.

This would have been about 1992 or 3... When I was in high-school my bedroom TV broke and had to be sent in to be repaired (back when you could repair things). At that time, I had hooked my SNES up to my stereo, so I could technically still get audio. I was able to beat stage 1-1, the initial simulation sequence, and stage 1-2 of Actraiser, by sound alone. I always thought that was cool.
I also beat Demon Souls without levelling up, but I think a guy recently laid waste to any possible claim of mastery over those games...

Oh, just remembered one of of mine; I beat Dead Space 2 on Zealot difficulty, which was essentially an iron man type thing. Practically every enemy would kill you in one hit, and you had only 3 saves to make for he entire game and no checkpoints so if you died you'd go back to your last save. That was a brutal test of patience that I never regretted.
I remember renting MGS for psx when it first came out. I wasn't able to play the first day but I woke up early on a Saturday and played through the entiretly of it in one sitting. Not so crazy to think these days but as a 13 year old dealing with school and crap, it felt amazing to sit and just play through it all. Such a great memory. On the other hand, I'm happy to just be able to beat any SNK fighting game boss. I'm a simple man lol

Why thank you, it was incredibly grinding. I wasn't being sarcastic with the 'no regrets' thing, I actually loved it. I planned out my saves, memorized every major action scenes' enemy spawns and min maxed the hell out of my upgrades; fun time.
