What encouraged you to stay on RGT?

I remember that Xkai recommended me Mega Man 7 and Mega Man & Bass when i beaten the 6 NES games.

Nothing did. I just stayed even when people started to get sick of me. Because I like talking with people. But I got a few people that can stand me and a friend Nebby "Nebula Galaxy" yay.

True to its name, even the forums feel retro. This place feels like the old internet, like from the 2000s or something. I didn't participate in forums much back then, so this site lets me experience that.

When I post on social media platforms today, it feels like I'm trying to appeal to an audience of millions. And ironically because of that, it's much harder to get any meaningful engagement. I always feel like I'm shouting into the void with every Xwitter post. And on DeviantArt, while I get notifications daily, it's always just for the usual faves or the occasional comment, which is often a generic "Cute!" remark or something. I didn't feel a connection with others anymore.

By contrast, this place has a smaller, more focused community of people with common interests. Whenever you log in, you see the usual people hanging around. People more actively share and exchange ideas rather than just fishing for likes or views. The forums here are just... different, for good reasons.
