What did you eat today?

I was out this morning, picking up some packages at the post office. I got an egg and cheese McMuffin from McDonald's, along with a black coffee.

Let me set the scene for you.....

So I walk in. It's fairly crowded, not packed... just, I was third in line.
I didn't pay any attention to the two in front of me, and the rather, rotund lady in front of me, along with her four, To quote Gabriel Iglesias "Fluffy" children.

Now, I don't care if someone is overweight...It's whatever, some people can't help it, and it's none of my concern what you eat. But there's being naturally overweight, and then there's bringing it on yourself....

The lady ordered for her, and I sware... none of these kids looked to be over nine. The following...

10 sausage and cheese biscuits
6 orders of gravy and biscuits
10 hash browns
4 orders of pancakes with extra syrup
a large coffee
6 milks
and 5 Big Breakfasts with Hotcakes.

Now, I’ve never heard of the last one, so I googled it when I heard the order.
It has the following as quoted from McDonald’s own website:

"A warm biscuit, savory hot sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, and golden brown hotcakes with a side of real butter and the sweet flavor of maple. There are 1,340 calories in McDonald’s Big Breakfast with Hotcakes."

I mean.... holy fuck, I couldn't eat all of that if I tried in a month's time.
There should seriously be an order limit on fast food. I mean, we have limits on alcohol sales.... you can't sell alcohol to someone who is already drunk.

And those poor kids... Now, granted, she could have gotten something for her husband at home, but those kids didn't get fluffy by eating salad. I felt bad for them.

That made me lol, at least they left out the diet coke with the rest of the order.

I can't for the life of me put away that much food and unfortunately for some people that stretch sensation in the stomach just doesn't happen so they almost eat endlessly and also feel constantly hungry as a result. It's a terrible loop and seems to be the cause of obesity in general. This can also be a learned state for some people. Ozempic actually supresses this, though medicine will realise that a monkeys paw is a thing at some point.

Fun fact when I was making sure to hit 150g+ of animal protein a day, this actually happened to me, I'd eat the whole house and then twice more. I didn't figure it out till I noticed I was struggling with not being slim since I focused on making sure I hit a minimum of protein a day. I dropped my protein down to 80g and tried low carb with that. I lost 40lbs in 3 months and I am pretty lean again for the most part. I have otherwise tried very hard to lose weight the last 5 years and no dice, despite having been quite slim for most of my life. Protein above a certain threshold was making me fat,

Medicine really, really needs to get it's act together, alongside the nutrition side of things, everything in moderation should be a mantra. It's ironic in that it's not just businesses that should focus on deconstructing the siloing that exists between departments but medicine, the amount of things that are actually an endocrinologist problem is off the scale if we go by complications that are related to diabetes, of which about 80% of conditions are related to.

That all said, some people do have gluttonous tendencies and that is it's own problem.

As for what I ate today, I had 130ml of heavy cream in a decaff coffee and I then ate two "mega burgers" with spicy cheese. Believe it or not that actually covers about 2,000 cals for me.

Fried Chicken...

I had about a quarter of one half of a loaf of garlic bread left, so I made garlic bread pizza with spicy garlic basil sauce, pepper jack, and mozzarella cheese. No pepperoni.

This basically
