Masayuki Furuya, so this technically applies to NIS (Nippon Ichi Software)
i really love his artstyle and what feels like his uncompromised vision on videogames.
a lot, and i mean a lot of patience is required to go through the games he has made, such as htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, Void Terrarium, and the Blind Prince & The Liar Princess which recently got a port for PC.
but it really feels like there is something special there despite the questionable gameplay design which is borderline insufferable. i think personally the Firefly Diary is a very special videogame to me, it feels like the pain i suffered from playing it actually contributed to the satisfaction and uniqueness of the experience and especially of its narrative.
