I'm adding on to the peanut butter thing; peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwiches. Everyone I've told that to looks at me like I'm actually insane, but it's fantastic. Get some white bread, more peanut butter than sweet pickles and it's great. Sweet, salty and peanut-y.
I like the taste but not the waxy nature of normal liquorice so actuallyI have that ice cream where I live, and yeah, it tastes like salty liquorice, so if you like that, then you will love the ice cream.
