Video game enemies that you hate

This ANNOYING, GOD-FORSAKEN THING:

View attachment 19780View attachment 19781

If you know, you know. What a pain.
i've noticed that plant enemies are some the worst enemies in general. they are all hard for no real reason. ff4 has a pretty decent rise of difficultly until you get to the forest of troia, and then it jumps up so much, half the enemies are zombie trees and killer flowers. plant enemies suck.

This too, if I'm on a civilian rescue mission and I see ONE Chryssalid lurks around, I'd rather load previous save.
Oh god, Chryssalids and civilians are not a good combination. Their cocoons have so much health too, trying to destroy them is usually pointless.

Hated this fucker as a child,(I feel like I can hear this image)

Although now it’s this guy, although hate is too strong of a word

yeah, the bungee zombies are annoying. i could deal with the jack-in-the-box ones, but not the plant snatchers.
Maybe it’s more I don’t like how he’s lookin at me; it feels like a more personal annoyance . Although now I don’t really hate any enemies

The miniblins from Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They were some of the scariest things in the Zelda series. Don't believe me? Just imagine you can hear this:

didink, didink
Didink, Didink
DIDINK DIDINK DIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINKDIDINK

I apologize for any bad flashbacks.

(For those who didn't play the game: line 1 is soft and you can't see them yet; line 2 is at moderate volume and you are just turning the camera to notice one right behind you; line 3 is loud and you are now surrounded by 15 to 35 of them. This all happens in mere seconds.)

sounds more like you are describing hyrule warriors. i don't think i got far enough in to see them in wind waker. i stopped a ways in to the fire dungeon. it took about 3 attempts to get there because of how horrible the forsaken fortress is.

I played Hyrule Warriors (somehow thought I might enjoy musou this time) and they were nowhere near as scary as they were in Wind Waker. In musou form, they don't have the element of surprise or catch you unprepared to fight that many despite hearing them before they appear.

yeah, the common enemies aren't very imposing, despite their large numbers. the bosses can be a bit intimidating though. i'm pretty sure the imp monsters are more of an actual threat in wind waker.

No matter what level or how much you upper your strength, fortitude, melee damage etc.you will never now the pain of suddenly being jumped by a hoard of 3 of these guys

Pretty much half the enemies from ff5, too many to name a specific one, theres a lot of gimmicky tomfoolery that goes on in there, but i still liek the game at the end of the day
that seems to stem from the blue mage job. there 30 spells that the blue mage could learn; so you have something of a reason to use the job. i think ff9and ff14 beat in terms of numbers, but it could be worse. kimahri is the bluemage in ffx, and he only learns 12 spells, 8 of which suck ass.
i guess square soft learned from ff3 about having shitty, useless jobs, and were trying to avoid that.

Any enemies in the Marvel's Spider-Man games that aren't unarmed thugs. The ones with guns eat your health bar for breakfast, the whip guys don't let you so much as jump, the big guys have a health bar that goes on for days, but the shield guys are the absolute WORST! Any enemy in a Marvel's Spider-Man game with a shield can eat me!

the mandrakes from smt if's domain of sloth were the things of nightmares. you're already stuck grinding there for like 7 hours, and whenever these guys pop up they've got a ton of HP, they're hard to run away from, paralyze your party, and then kill you. they suck so much
