TV Shows You’re Currently Watching (NOT ANIME)

Mr Sunshine ( didn't realize the guy that plays the Front Man in Squid Game who stars in this series spoke excellent English until I watched him in this :O )

Since after the last time I posted on this thread we started to binge watch all K-Drama titles that stars Kim Tae-Ri in it ... cause she's just so awesome and cool in all the roles she's done !

Reacher on Prime.

Gold Rush Mining Rescue with Freddy and Juan.

Yes, it's another one of those reality work shows, but this one is actually damn solid and interesting to watch. If you like nature, dirt, rocks, and fabrication, this is the one.

Just starting a rewatch of Mission Hill! If you haven't heard of, it was the (woefully short) next project of golden age-Simpsons producers Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein. Anyone looking for another shot of that Simpsons magic will not be disappointed!

Been re-watching Hogan's Heroes.

I watched this show. Growing up, they where Re-runs then mind you. along with M*A*S*H, I always thought they were comedy gold.
But I am probably older than most of you Kid-O's on this site; the shows are genuinely funny.

but you have to remember the time period they where set in, and what was going on in the world. It was a different time.

Still, in my opinion, Great shows that still give me a chuckle.

(Note: This thread is meant exclusively for non-anime TV series — see the anime-focused equivalent here. Anyone found violating this rule will be given a paddling.)

TV. The idiot box. The boob tube. The electric simpleton. The cubic universe. That thing you used to watch. Let’s talk about it!

Post whatever shows you’re currently watching here, and tell me what you think of them. Because I’m an angel, I’ll also allow web originals and streaming-based shows, too. So sit back, relax (anyone who uses the preceding phrase in the introduction to their TV show should be executed by the state), and tune in!

ive been watching young sheldon lately, trying to catch up since i missed most of it

The adventures of Pete and Pete
Post automatically merged:

I mostly use shows for background noise, but I've been catching up on missed episodes of 'In Living Color' and 'Married With Children'.
I might watch 'Always Sunny in Philadelphia' someday, but it's not high on my priority list.
Love the profile picture, hamtaro is great

Onegai My Melody, probably the best series Sanrio have released ( even better than Aggretsuko imo )

It’s cute, funny, decent narrative and surprisingly really well written when it needs to be for a fucking cartoon.

We finished When the Phone Rings on Netflix (I still find it interesting how the original Korean transliteral titles are way better ... in this case 'The number you have dialed) ... Overall good series ... felt episode 12 wasn't necessary but I guess ending it all at 11 would've been out of Korean drama's format

Checking out The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call just to see why it was top 10 for a couple of weeks :O
So far it's been great (Y)

First time watching: Blacklist and the last few seasons of House

Re-watching: He-Man (god how I love Skeletor) and that Kung Fu Panda show from 2011 (nostalgia)

Resident Alien is probably the main one. We've seen the first two seasons and we're going to start up the third soon now that it's on Netflix.

Deadwood (great)
Before that it was Squid Games S2 (fine)
and Twin Peaks S1-3 + FWwM (amazing)

Love is Blind Season 8 ...
Offline Love

Finished The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and it's worth watching !

Hopefully better K-Dramas get added on Netflix
Still dislike how Lovely Runner is not available in this country :/

Currently watching Ten year old Tom. Its a funny adult animated series that I think got largely overlooked. It reminds me of what i've seen of Home Movies with that improvised feel to the dialogue. Its basically a kid clearly voiced by a grown man and all the adults in his life are bad influences.

Before that I was watching The Looney Tunes show. Also very underrated. The improvement they made to Lola Bunny was insane lol. Went from bland to one of the funniest cartoon characters ever imo.

the title clearly says no anime.

I want to say I'm dangerously close to putting on King of the Hill in the background as a work (Hey I adore Mike Judge) but we all know King of the Hill is the BEST slice of life anime

Jokes aside, Lucha Undergound.
A hybrid wrestling drama created by Robert Rodriguez in which they filmed all the fights back to back and the wrote in a drama/soap opera surrounding the matches which could accommodate any injuries induced.
So it's fake, but not WWE fake as the matches are unscripted they just created a lore retroactively.
It's insane and I love it. (Although I only have access to the first season)

My partner and I watched through Game of Thrones recently. He hadn't seen it before. Such good world building. Then they ruined it.

We're currently watching through Rick and Morty. We avoided it for a long time because of the negative stigma a lot of the fans gave it, but it's actually really good. It's in the same vein as Bojack Horseman, but it doesn't hurt quite as much so it's good for a casual rewatch.

We have movie nights with our daughter(she's 8). She wanted to watch scary stuff, so we started with the Alien movies. I'd never seen them before either and was immediately hooked.

Then we watched all of Insidious, and now we're going through all the Conjuring movies. I really liked the Insidious series even though it was a little campy. The Conjuring movies are cool too but apparently the real people had some messed up stuff going on IRL so that kind of ruined it for me.

We're thinking of re-watching Haunting of Hill House, but I don't know if I'm ready for more emotional damage.

If anyone has recommendations for more scary movies please let me know. We're thinking of the original Evil Dead movies next.
