The Worst Game you ever played

I liked the first hour of this game (the entire bathroom scene is goated), but afterwards, it just diarrhea's itself.
It's such a downer too, because that first hour is *amazing*. I must have reset and tried it again four times just to see how I could mess with the investigation.

I will never forget this tho:

Man I miss the Super Best Friends. I still watch Matt and Woolie's stuff. I miss how Let's Plays used to be. The raw recordings back then were so much more cozy and enjoyable then they are now with the constant flashy subtitles and loud yelling in your face. ProtonJon and DashieXP were always my favorites.

I'm modding a PS3 for one of my homies. Maybe I need to get him to play this one night. Preferrably with a couple beers in the system lol. I remember playing this when it came out and even as a kid I thought the story was bad lol.
Heavy Rain is one of the GOATs of bad games. Definitely deserves a drunken playthrough.

What was the worst game you ever played for any amount of time and what made it so bad?

I wanna hear all about the shovelware that you all might have touched that makes us appreciate the good games all that more
Definitely The Evil Within. Bad and basic scares of haunted house, awful gameplay, basic story that pretended to be deep and interesting. Everything about that game is bad.

Alright, this one is crazy. Can't believe you right now. Joking of course lol.

Never forget that trash.

The last time I ever played a game and thought, 'Wow, this is terrible.' was playing Fallout 76 on launch day.

I still regret buying that with my own money because that released when I was in high school and didn't have anything for income.

The worst game I've ever played was Pro Golfer Soru for Wii.

1739259551947.png

It released in Japan and was quickly put together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the magazine that the manga released in. It was like someone heard about Wii Sports: Golf but had no idea how a golf game would work on the console.

You get six playable characters. Two of them are just the same girl. There are also two unlockable characters. They are both variations on two existing characters and, again, one of them is just the girl. The game has an arcade mode where you battle against an NPC. The game is slow as possible and there is only about four golf courses. However, the arcade mode is for about nine holes so you repeat characters and courses.

I don't even remember finishing the arcade mode because it took too long and the game play was boring. Most of the knowledge I have of the game I got from watching this video. Also, fun fact, the game scored 12 out of 40 in Famitsu. Famitsu is incredibly generous in their scores. A game is considered crap if it scores 25 let alone 12. This is one of the lowest scored video games in the magazine's history.

I don't even remember why I played it. I think I heard of its infamy years ago and decided to emulate it. Don't bother. If you need to see anime characters playing golf, just use Mii Creator to make Goku or Naruto and have them fight in Wii Sports: Golf.

Nope, it wasn't a joke. I have been playing horror games almost all my life and that's the worst game.

I only played the demo on 360 but it was an experience.

Is basically what happens if Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid made the Fusion dance but they made it wrong and the result is a stealth game that punishes you a lot for little errors, the Vampires basically kills you in one hit when they discover you.

The PS3 version of this was a bit better. They fixed up a few issues and it looked a bit better. I had it there as a kid.

Worst for me was playing Ragnarok Online, the official Brazilian servers to be exact.
Most toxic filled, pay to win, time consuming, exploratory experience i ever had with gaming. Millions of bots, elitist players that spend all their minimum wage on the game to try their best to humiliate other players, plenty of narcissists and toxic trolls, weird drama, if you aren't going to spend money, be prepared to grind, all day, with absurd lag, with people grifting all the time, to in the end still be lower of the class because you didn't spend money.
I don't know why i played this for years either, don't ask me

I hate it so much. No music, boring aesthetic and a obviously blatant ripoff from the tv series. One of the first cartridges i've ever had, and i had absolutely no clue of what to do.
There is a Mission Impossible game for NES if you want something that's actually related to the show. This isn't that game, the name isn't even the same. It's originally a Commodore 64 game that is unrelated and I would agree that the SMS port isn't a good one, but worst game ever?

I heard a bad game with constant low ratings is called "life" people complain about difficulty and a lot of its mechanics are RNG based worst yet you can't save man.....
that one has a lot of cool side content tho, including whole games inside it and hidden mechanics!!

Clock Tower 3. I had just finished up Haunting Ground—which I ended up liking way more than I thought I would—and I wanted to compare the two because CT3 has something of a reputation for being batshit insane.

If you must experience that game, watch someone else play it. The stalker/killer A.I. is godawful. They have an infant's sense of object permanence: your character can get into a hiding spot a few feet in front of them and they just sit there wondering how that school girl suddenly disappeared. Then the stalker teleports away because this game doesn't give a rat's tuckus about verisimilitude.

Also, your character goes from being a useless damsel to a literal magical girl with arrows of light for poorly explained plot reasons.

Also also, some of the unlockable costumes for your 14-year-old heroine are...questionable.

Aw I love that game!

So, I've played objectively shittier games than this, but this game gets my vote. For one, it's licensed slop. Two, it's based off the Michael Bay trash movies with their stupid modern designs. Finally, it was just... bland. I could say as bland as white bread, but I've had some absolutely delicious white bread that you don't even need to put anything on. The blandness is legit shocking. It's just so nothing. I didn't detect even the slightest hint of a soul in it. Ultimately, I tend to find bland games worse than bad games. Same with other forms of media. Something bad at least makes me feel emotions while playing it. Negative ones, sure, but it's something! I rented it and played it for maybe two hours before returning it and getting something else. I don't have much more to say. This kind of game is true suffering for me.
Oh i played this one. It feels like being in a church as a kid. Seriously, it's so boring and bland it gave me stomach pain. I never played a good licensed game on PS2

Unbearably boring, GREY, it somehow makes destroying a city as a giant robot dull

It mustve been put together in a week or something because iirc travellers tales made it, a usually great studio

I played it too. the later ones were a bit better but not by much. Actually thinking about it I also played the DS versions. They were actually neat little games on there. They had Autobots and Decepticons locked behind what version you bought kinda like pokemon versions, but you could make your own character and stuff. Cool little games.
