I take a ton of them on Steam when I see a pretty scenery or a funny moment.
Hehe.
Maybe your hobby is photography (landscape, photojournalism, sports, and so on), but you just don’t know it yet :)
Photography is a pretty expensive hobby (and it’s not at all about the equipment, as people tend to think). And thanks to video games, you can give it a try “relatively inexpensively”. Traveling to different locations, buying (or renting) props, hiring a model etc - all of this steadily drains your wallet. But a camera (and lens) you buy only
once. And you don’t need the newest and most expensive camera to take top-quality photos. Any (properly functioning) camera from the last 20 years (maybe even one from 50 years ago, if you’re into film photography) will give you magazine-quality photos. Lenses are even more affordable. You can mount lenses from the 1970s on modern cameras, and they still produce excellent results (but they don't have autofocus, so you'll have to practice a bit).
In better times, I used to be a sports photographer, mainly covering extreme mountain biking depatrment (downhill). But with games like Forza Horizon 4 or Tokyo Xtreme Racer, I was able to “try my hand” at photographing cars, too! :)
Games in other genres, especially those without a dedicated photo mode, aren't as convenient. But even there you can sometimes "shoot" something interesting.
