The screenshots thread. Show that you play

I found a crazy glitch in Silent Hill (JP) I was casually going after the UFO ending, after getting the Katana and was about to speed through Sewers Part 1 in the dark as you do and noticed the water looking all psychedelic. It only looks like this in the dark, if I turn on the flashlight it disappears.

Ju-on - Wii - Dolphin.

Pretty slept on title if you ask me.
I've had this one for a while but still need to play it. Crazy that it was made by the Lost Odyssey dev. Calling's another similar one that I really enjoyed on Wii.

Anyways, still playing Echoes of the End. Underappreciated game, tbh. Very impressive for a small and unknown dev.

Wtf? wow i didn't know this, that's actually pretty insane.
I'm a real sucker for Japanese horror, even if they are touted "bad" I always see them from a different perspective, and half the time time my gut was right.

And yes The Calling is another excellent game for the Wii, though I got lost on the second level, just wandering empty hallways.

Oh I love the look of that. Making a note to play soon because if nothing else the atmosphere looks absorbing
Yeah it's not insane or anything but the atmosphere hits and that feels pretty decent for the most part.

Took a while to adjust the controls for the wii remote on this one through Dolphin, as the turning with default settings is insanely slow.

I just enjoy weird stuff, i get a real kick playing "bad but its kinds good" games, Illbleed, Blue Stinger, D2, Omikron, seven mansions ghastly smile. imo fantastic.

and thus recently I'm noticing a similar thing with some under the radar Wii titles.

This and The Calling... absolutely worth at least trying out for curiosity sake.

They also made Mindjack and Ninety Nine Nights 2. Nothing on the level of Lost Odyssey before they were absorbed into AQ Interactive and some of the devs got to work on another collaborative Mistwalker effort, The Last Story.

Speaking of Japanese horror, I just got my physical copy of Fatal Frame 2 for PS5 so I'll have to dig into that. I've heard that some people aren't fond of changes they've made, however I guess they've patched out some of the issues since release. Also, I'm sure you have but have you played the English translation of Ikenie No Yoru?

seeing jill's bu- i mean exploring the abandoned ship.

Oh cool. let me know how Fatal Frame goes, I played the demo, it was decent.
Was a tad, bit bummed out though that there was no performance or 60 FPS toggle.
Since most of the game takes place indoors/corridors for the most part I thought it would easily have such an option available, but alas... (was a bit choppy)

I have literally heard about Ikenie No Yoru for the first time by yourself lol, I will have to look into it immediately, no matter how obscure. cheers.

EDIT: Oh is that so?

Recent March 2026 patches for
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake on PS5 have introduced significant balance adjustments, including nerfs to Aggravated Wraiths and certain Onryo. These updates aim to improve game balance following reports of high difficulty. A toggle to remove the heavy film grain effect was also recently added.
Key Patch Information (March 2026):
  • Balance Adjustments: Patch updates have reduced the difficulty of specific ghosts (Aggravated Wraiths and select Onryo).
  • Visual Enhancements: A toggle for the film grain effect is available, allowing a clearer image on PS5.
  • Performance: Updates aim to address performance issues in the base PS5 version.
  • Availability: These patches are currently live on PS5, Steam, and Xbox Series X|

I was reminded of the Sega 32x today, and wondered if there was a way to emulate it on something connected to a CRT.
The PicoDrive core in the Wii nightly release of Retroarch plays it just fine! Even takes screenshots too.

Well, at native res. Look its brilliant on a CRT, okay!

Playing it on a Wii is pretty good though, so much cheaper than the original hardware. The 32x addon is going for £500-1000 over here, and thats just plain stupid.

Wonder if there is some way to get the CD32x Doom running on this...
Talking about Doom, the 32x fan enhanced version is an amazing piece of work. I forgot it was the 32x version when I was playing it!

lol, two Rachels!

I really like how my Rachel is wearing black clothing, while the opponent Rachel is wearing white clothing. It’s a really cool contrast! ::peacemario
