If you haven't: read the original manga (11 chapters only, it's a very fast ride). Another proof that he was legittimately the best on comical stories than action/overserious ones.

And also I just discovered that apparently they made more games (3 on SNES and 1 on Game Boy) than the actual original material??

Started playing Balatro yesterday after getting over my gripe of not knowing how to play cards properly enough to GET GUD. It really does feel well built for every possible skill level

Actually lasted up to Ante 5 tonight and I don't think I skipped any blinds? Four Fingers Joker was definitely the savoir of the run

Got into my now nightly ritual of playing Balatro before bed. My mom walked in to check on my dog and cover her up and got curious about what I was playing. Showed her the game piece-meal style as it happened and she really got heavily invested in it (even if a lot of it, and I quote, "made her head hurt"). We actually got pretty far (mostly through trial and error on both of our parts) before I collectively called it a "night", even got Gros Michael and Cavendish

Went for a focus on levelling up my magic stat, as magic is very useful for hitting enemy weaknesses and the magic stat helps increase the stats of your demons.

Playing trought all my GBA backlog. Perhaps a mini-review of all of them when I'm finished

Been playing Shadow of Mordor here and there. Owned it for a good while, finally trying to clear it from the ol' backlog. So far it's been pretty fun and slaying orcs feels like a good time with the LOTR movies in fresh memory.
And recently started a replay of Wolfenstein : The Old Blood. I love both The New Order and The Old Blood but if I had to choose between the two, I think The Old Blood might win out since it's kind of like a modern take on the occultist shit in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, while also being a continuation rather than a "reboot" of the franchise. I love the feedback from the weapons in TOB / TNO.
