How do you rate?

I think it was more exciting than the State of Play, but less good than the Summer Games Festival.

Highlights for me:

- State of Decay 3
- Crazy Taxi
- Metro

What did you think?

Heh... I find it ok but that just because my expectation where very low to begin with.

I dont bite anything MS does or says. I have my doubts of E-day, I think they might nail the gameplay but the story and vibe looks totally going to be ass. Just looks at this

Like... really? It felt so cringe and try hard to look bad. I really dont know why it even focus on this. Is so like stuff like this:

And I could go on, but I have seen this stuff before on Halo, so I personally dont care too much E-day now, thought I might be wrong.

Now, I think it is cool that they are returning to the exclusive (and real exclusives, not 'console exclusive' bs). Lets ignite this console war again!

Moving on:

Crazy Taxi looked nice! Lets see more gameplay but I really must say I liked the new style. It is not like the usual 'Lets copy Pixar' way, but their own thing. Hopefully it delivers in the 'World tour' aspect, but it seems ridiculous, over the top and fun. Which is nice.

Call me crazy, but I liked that they stuck with DMZ. I liked the gameplay and I will give it a try (if it is f2p. I aint buying MW4). I know Marathon exists, but I really didnt like the art style, so this is just in my alley.

On the not that good side of the DMZ trailer, I guess we can call the 'We wont add skins that doenst fit the style' bs right now and forget about our grounded soldiers:

So overall... a 7/10? I think it is fair and the new console looks nice. I hope this brings back the trend of transparent consoles/gamepads again.

Man the last State of Play is champion, number 1 and it blew out of the water ANY SHOW in making the most boring and lame ass show we have seen, probably (and hopefully) for a long while.

It had video games at least. Surprisingly difficult bar for these events to seem to reach these days for some reason.

It'd be 5/10 if it had to compete with any event from a decade ago probably. Or maybe decade and a half. These have been pretty bad for a while.

I miss the og developers that just wanted to make great games people would wanna play, without the extra edge...

Pretty good. Definitely a lot of stuff that I want to play (Gears E-Day, Metro, Crazy Taxi, Fable, Clockwork, Halo, Plague Tale).

I wish they'd let Hellblade die, though. Ninja Theory needs to do something else.

I want the translucent green one that's a throwback to the OG Xbox Halo console, however I don't think I can justify $700 when the new consoles are coming out a year later. Maybe if there's a good trade-in at Gamestop on the Series X (last time it was $450ish).

I think you captured it right, it looks like souless UE5 slop and it probably IS current slop.

that being said you should give Halo CE a try. Truly a master piece.

Then it may not be for you. It gives the impression of being the Reload treatment on P4. Even the designation "Revival" seems inspired by ''Reload'.

It seems nowadays that Xbox is a significantly more interesting gaming brand than PlayStation. Which is a kinda mindblowing comeback, with how bad Xbox got, comparared to the "flavorless sausage factory" that PlayStation has become in the gaming market.
