A hack that brings fixes and improvements from the U.S version of the game to the European one, that was released earlier.
Some key ones being: the third bomb bag upgrade, the fix for Eenie’s Kinstone fusion and calling Zeffa from the rooftop of the tower at Cloud Tops are now added in.

I'm curious about something. the first time I've played (and completed) this game, was with the gba NSO edition of this game, and I'm VERY SURE it was the european version of the game in the NSO catalog. Did anyone else also played that one? I mean, if I'm correct about what version I've played, that means that nintendo actually bugfixed the complete rom, because I've played that version without knowing anything about the troubles that the EU version had

Oh, and can someone plz explain the relevance of this hack? Why not just play the USA version instead?

The Europe version has more languages in it than the USA version. The Europe version of this game didn't have any of those listed fixes that got added into the USA version that was released a bit later. This hack adds in those QoL fixes and bug fixes into it.

There are other languages besides English of course, and those non-native English speakers would like to play it in their main language.

edit: just looked it up to be completely sure. The USA version has only English. The Euro version has 5 other languages in it. So this actually does have a reason to exist for playing it in those languages.

Thanks a lot for this! I played this game when I was a kid and I noticed something weird with be bombs turns out our version was bugged hahaha
