I don't know what more else to say man, if i said "yes", you seriously would take into account my words? You don't like Nintendo, i understand it and don't think if even i talk wonders about Kirby you would play a game or give it more appreciate. Also i have the feel that you're taking this on a weird personal way.
But going to the question:
I'm not actually a super fan, i like the franchise but only played and completed a few games, but i had lots of fun with these, the main series plays like most platformers but you can float around the stages and absorb enemies to get cool abilities. You're missing something? I don't know what games do you play but if you like platformer games you're missing a fun franchise.

I don't like nintendo post ds era. They were always very litigious, but just turned into scummy
businessmen, like ea and the rest. Thanks for the fair assessment, I just assumed you really liked
kirby. I dont really play platformers anymore all that much, besides like Metroid or Castlevania, and I have no nostalgia whatsoever for the little guy. I did lie earlier however, I kinda remember this NDS
game where you drew like crayon lines and kirby bounced around on them. I Remember that being fun, but it was SO LONG ago.

I barely played any post-DS game so i can't have a opinion on that.
That Kirby game you mentioned is named Power Paintbrush or Canvas Curse depending in where you live.
When you aren't in a smug "you're so easy to get mad" mood, you are pleasing to talk, i have to give you props for that.

Yes Canvas Curse, I remember now. And it's not smugness, I assure you I am the biggest looser in the world, but I've always had no problem telling people how I feel at all, that used to mean you were
an asshole. Now that I just turned 53, I'm only a grumpy old man. Which is EVEN better now I can
be a total dick and blame it on my advanced age. BWAHAHAHAHAH (evil laughter)
jk. Thanks, I have also enjoyed our recent interactions. And I remind you as everyone else
here should remember, they are Video Games. It's not that important. (yes I know the horror storys)
but it is only games. So I will try to be accommodating in the future

I'm aware, in 5 months i'll turn 18 so imagine if i couldn't stand a contrary opinion
Anyways, sometimes you can be really a nuisance on the threads, so i won't cut on saying that if necessary.
But (if doesn't notice enough), i don't have anything against you and seem that we can get along (both well and bad xD).
So, take care man!
I was just reminded of the time my friend and I were playing Age Of Empires 2 as a team but I got pissed off by him constantly bossing me around, so I secretly changed the diplomacy in the middle of the battle and slaughtered his troops from the back.
Coming from GameFAQs, this is the main reason why I avoid other forums and always have.
Why do you guys insist on keeping "general gaming chat' on a general gaming forum contained in a single topic? The forums would be far more fun, active and enjoyable to use if everyone just made a topic about whatever came to mind like we did on GameFAQs back in the day. A constant flow of topics, sure some repeating, but it's a lot better.
You play a game? you make a topic about it
you have a random thought on gaming, make a topic if one that is active doesn't already exist and even then
that format is so liberating so free and expressive
PERFECT example
on GameFAQs this would be a separate topic "currently playing Shenmue and I just want to rant SPOILERS" then you post your thing in the body
Believe me, visibility of your content is way higher when it has its own individual topic and engagement is much better, in big topics like this, stuff gets lost, overlooked, quickly becomes irrelevant.
Then if no one sees your topic you bump it a few times then stop so you don't end up spamming the forum
but that freedom we had before the mods went completely mental, that we'll never get back on gaming forums :(
@Sonic Boomer Nothing is stopping anyone from doing that. This thread is... well, it's a thread about chatting generally about gaming, which is what we're doing.
Edit- However, if 100 people made 100 threads about Shenmue, I'm merging them into one big Shenmue Megathread, because I'm not scrolling through 6 pages of Shenmue topics just to find one on Panzer Dragoon or something.
Oh we've had situations like that on GameFAQs, like the 8.8 fiasco with Zelda TP and so on
having tons of topics on the same subject, something exploding like that, it's all part of the active forum fun :) what was EVEN more awesome on LUElinks, we had realtime posting in topics, so whenever someone posts a new message it would appear like in a realtime chat and no merging of posts, so every post would bump the topic up.
Pure forum perfection imo
idk, I kinda like DMC2, sure it's not very good, but it's pretty funny in just how bad it is, certified kusoge and since it's not very hard it's really not that annoying to get through
That doesn't really fly when all you have to say is "I played this one for five minutes". Threads are good for thoughts, a hub like this one is where it's at for stray observations.

You checked something out, you make a topic, then people may or may not talk about it. If there's interest the topic goes on, if not it gets buried.
It was also good for more....specific users like me to be contained in our own topics usually.
We still had CJ topics on LUElinks (Circle Jerks) but you weren't expected to post in them and honestly they were usually hard to follow and filled with off topic stuff anyway.
But the structure of those forums, GameFAQs, LUElinks, they're a phenomenal blend of realtime chat and forum mentality, with LL being more the better blend since GameFAQs lacks realtime posting.
Either way, the freedom to just say whatever and move on, that was amazing.
