god that looks so good... I got back into X sorta early this year and wish I was better at it, the drifting tech is so smooth but also difficult to maximize for good placements

I need to learn how to properly drift but this is harder as emulation isn't as accurate as an actual N64 with the proper gamepad.

You can clearly see how this earlier build had differences in term of environment for the same layout.

The Casino level layout is Port Town whereas Fire Field is Lightning. I'm wondering if it's because they didn't have the assets ready or if they changed it during development.

We're getting a new F-Zero game this year! Here's the catch, it's a previously cancelled Virtual Boy game called Zero Racers and it's going to be on NSO.

So not really a "new" game per se.

Still good to get more rare games but I feel almost the full library should've been available from the start.

I became interested in the franchise around 2018 only because how good the music of GX is, shortly after I got a copy to try on an old GameCube that was in storage and what to say, it's my favorite racing game, period.

For a while I got obsessed with arcades and in particular about the AX deluxe cabinet thanks to the map of locations on the F-Zero reddit, then 2 years ago I went to a retro arcade that has 2 of them, it was worth the years of fixation on this thing and the experience was the best kind of perfection, this thing is so awesome.
