It was cute and reasonably priced, so I snagged it. I made a new table and it only had the Miku Star Voice figure on it, so it needed a companion.

You know what I always hated? The part in the original Last Of Us when Joel has Ellie cover him with a rifle they found near a dead guy on a balcony... I mean, that's all kinds of effed up as an idea (how long has it been sitting there? What if the weather got to it? How do you know if the ammo is still good?) and the first time when I genuinely felt like the game was losing its narrative focus, not only because the only check they do to the weapon is that it is locked and loaded, but also because I feel that Joel (the weapons smuggler who's always modifying them) should know better. He IS trusting life and limb to a 14-year-old whom, by her own admission, has never handled anything bigger than a BB gun before and who's now firing a possibly critically damaged rifle that might explode in her hands.

Yes... It's the nerdiest of rants, but I really wanted it out of my chest XD

Starting today, I have a week off work.
I awoke to an email saying I was gonna be charged by an old network provider I left back in November.
I had to wait on hold for an hour, and the first person I spoke to was ill, so they put me on hold for another 10 mins while they had "a coughing fit".
I got through to another person who I conveyed my displeasure to. Thankfully he actually recognised what I was telling him, and long story short I'm getting a ~£180 refund.
Not too bad going for a day off.
