this is a tribute thread for one of if not the greatest yu-gi-oh! creator ever and one of the most impactful creators to me in my life,im sorry to his loved ones for having to deal with this loss especially at this time.
when i first stumbled upon his prog series i was 15-16 years old and haven't been into yugioh in years especially with anything like the manga, anime and or the card game so his series got me back into it and thus i started interacting with people online for the first time and made my first ever group of online friends ever and some of which are some of my closest friends to this day,and cuz of that i started socializing online more which led me to things like discord which made me meet more people that are my friends and in a way this site,it is truly something how things as simple and so easy to forget as a manga/show or a card game or a content creator about something so simple can have such a powerful impact on even a single person (let alone thousands if not millions in both kazuki takahashi the author of yu-gi-oh! and Alex cimoooooooo) i don't know where i would be atleast online today if it wasn't for both takahashi and in this case cimooo, takahashi said that his work was made to make people find and make friends and i think he very much succeeded in that in my case especially, thank you for everything alex, you will be missed you absolute mad lad.

Cimo had also “raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and volunteered his time in hope of finding a cure,” as expressed by his mother.
Good to hear, it seems almost everyone involved in Yu-Gi-Oh! dies a hero in some way.

takahashi really succeeded in his message, the absolute legend
tbh, the message of Yu-Gi-Oh! was friendship, but I suppose that could still work as a method of inspiring people to fight against cancer.

Although, considering the swath of Pokemon card scalpers, I'd imagine he succeeded at his message better than Satoshi Tajiri did.
