Switch Switch 2 Nintendo Direct 4.2.2025

Buying an upgrade pack for a game you already own is so lame. Thanks, Nintendo!

i wonder if Elden Ring would run greater or similar to Steam Deck

So basically if you didn't have a PS5, the Switch 2 will bring a bunch of new games. Otherwise, it will do fuck all.

That's perfect for me, I was saving for a ps5 but I really only wanted it for like 3 games, I might go for the switch 2 now lol

Meh, it was ok. A bunch of ports was realistically the best they could've done for a June launch. The only new game that was interesting to me was the new FromSoft game and that comes out in 2026. Maybe they announce more stuff later on, but right now its kind of underwhelming. I was hoping for something from Intelligent Systems and got nothing.

I wanted it to be Mario but DK is good too. Breaking shit looks great. From Soft with that notBloodborne game got me good.

Quite good Direct.

May consider getting a Switch 2 on the future but I don't think it is a day one buy.

Many games that are already on other consoles or glorified DLCs.

A Fromsoft game exclusive to a Nintendo console? Kirby Air Ride 2??????
I have very mixed feelings but I'm likely getting a Switch 2 I guess.

Was half hoping it's something related to Legacy of Kain but this is fine too, agreed that it's a bit underwhelming.

Silksong is real you guys! It's real! It's not an elaborate gaslight!

Deltarune Chapters 3 & 4, cannot wait haha looking forward to that one.

New Mario Kart looks sick, open world is crazy.

Overall, dunno if it's a day one purchase for me. Might hold out for a new Animal Crossing/Zelda/Smash Bros. Still, looks very good. It's gonna be so cool playing Breath Of The Wild on that slick 120 fps.

Its weird that they’ll announce everything but the price?? The paid upgrades are also meh, sony did it so it makes sense.

Games wise Im pretty happy, some of them were stinker but Deltarune, Silk Song, Th 3+4, mario kart, airide. It did make me feel really nostalgic, alot of classics coming back and the gimmicks remind me of the wii era of things. Im really fucking happy :)
