Hack of Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 (only way to improve this title is to add New and Knuckles) which replaces the raccoon tail with the cape, ass well as adding a backup item box. Hack Info: Author: hiro1112 Patch Version: 1.2 Release Date: 04 June 2026 Last Modified: 04 June 2026 Source: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/9713/

This is a cool hack. I have mixed feelings about the effects box always being there though, and the omission of ALL the raccoon leaves and replacing of all of them with capes. Would be good to have both. If the effects box could be toggled on and off that'd be amazing. Very cool having the vegetable plucking of Mario 2 in there as well.

Also, the e-reader levels being included (even if just vanilla) would be nice to have with it as well. Would possibly be the perfect hack with these edits.

Regardless, thanks for making it! It's quite fun to spice up the original a bit!
This pretty much my hot take, I agree 100%.

Could you also combine this hack with the other hacks this game has? And apply it to the other Mario Advanced games as well?
