It's about a Japanese Foreign Exchange Student who befriends a strange girl who possesses the seemingly supernatural power to solve any mystery with just a few details. The two go around solving a series of mysteries most of much end up unveiling a massive conspiracy.

Watch ‘She, The Ultimate Weapon’, it’s quickly turning to hate watching. There are moments that I believe are brilliant and Chise’s weapon design is awesome but most of it makes me feel like a disappointment parent

Over all I really don’t like how the plot treats Chisa more as a macguffin than a person. Which I believe could totally work for this story, but not how they’re doing. It doesn’t feel like there’s an unreliable narrative thing going on - like if she only seems simplified because of the mc’s own perspective.

But I’m only on ep 4 out of 13

Watching ‘She, The Ultimate Weapon’,

Ep 9 broke me, I think I’m just going to drop it. The main problem of this show is it’s utterly obsessed with romance but is dogshit at romance. It seems incapable of having any female male relationship that aren’t romantic, no matter the age or marital status of the characters involved

Even friendships in this show feel hallow when they all come down to discussing the potential romances.

It’s really disappointing because it does get rather good when it isn’t dragged down by this giant problem.

Just finished all of the original Ranma 1/2 series. All 7 seasons, the OVAs and the 3 movies. Finished Nin Kuro while watching.

Going the finish Ryza no Atelier currently at episode 10. Am I understanding correctly this is a kinda retelling of the first game? Ryza and her huge... Personality.
Need to go back and finish DandaDan and Solo Leveling.
Did also hear correctly Fire Force is back?

Started You and I Are Polar Opposite and it is really surprisingly good. The main character is wild but also funny, and the animation is surprisingly beautiful and charming. I am loving this show.

Not super-recent, but I recently got through Chobits. It was alright; some of the themes it touches on feel pretty topical these days, though I feel maybe it was a bit too optimistic in spots. Animation was serviceable; nothing mind-blowing, but also it kinda didn't need to be. Unfortunately, the rip I was watching applied a smeary upscale to everything; I would've preferred sticking to 480p, honestly.

I have trouble sticking to series, but I'm planning on getting through Mahoromatic next. That or maybe rewatching the Video Girl Ai OVA.

I finished it half a year after it came out (it came out in July of 2025, I finished it in January of this year). I was going to to watch the episodes as they released, but life got in the way. I still love it, though!

If you meant it, as in what I'm still watching, though... I have two answers

I'm a biiiig fan of Slice of Life, as you could see with how much I liked City. Since I'm such a sucker for those cute, more laidback shows, I've recently decided to watch all the important ones that I still haven't watched, starting with this one.

And ooooh boy, isn't this one just the absolute best. It's just so gorgeous to look at, the plots so simple yet captivating enough... And the characters are so cute!


And the second one is

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3!
I watch it with my friends the same day episodes release (or one or two days later, depending on how busy we are). It's a weekly thing now, and it's awesome!
I'm liking it so far, but I'm honestly just waiting for one, very specific fight to happen.

They're not perfect (and don't show the full manga unlike the David Prod anime) yet I really like them.
