Anime Stop! Spill your recently watched anime >:)

They're not perfect (and don't show the full manga unlike the David Prod anime) yet I really like them.
Jojo part 3 ova is not perfect but compared to the generation of chaos ovas stardust cruzaders ova is a masterpiece.

Finished watching The SoulTaker earlier today. Besides that, recently I've watched Tatami Galaxy, Megalobox Nomad, and I'm almost done watching Victory Gundam.

Remember this late millenial/early zoomer childhood classic? Ofc you do, and I'm sure it doesn't need any introduction. Always wished to have also Hasbro official products, but never managed to find ones and relied on bootlegs (which I still found them as cool as imagining the original ones).
Binged all of it in a week on Discord. No regrets, it was nice and satisfying, but let's face it: it hasn't aged super well. I hear mixed opinions on V-Foce, but I know G-Revolution is good (if not better than the original series).

Much better animation than davidproduction that tries to replicate a manga effect, which is why it is more static. It can have its positive and negative sides, but I think JoJo actually deserved a full adaptation as fluid in animation as those OVAs for each part. I would have actually lost my mind to see Part 4 like that.

A few weeks back I finished Scrapped Princess.

Now I am weekly watching Frieren season 2.
Perhaps I'll pick up another seasonal to follow.

I'm watching Uncle From Another World and if you're a fan of SEGA you'll get a kick out of this show. It references a lot of SEGA Saturn stuff, and the best part? Sonic cameos.

Actually I think I know why this anime is so hated, it's because it's one of the worst isekais that I ever watched.

In 2 more days the final episode of Trigun Stargaze comes out and I'm binging all 12 of them. Loved the first season.

Just finished Sentenced to Be a Hero and if they don't make a sequel soon i will be very disappointed, it's cinematically excellent and direction of every scene bring a level of pathos that i was not expecting at first from this series, also the character design is stunning and also the overall story is a god mix og political intrigue, heroism, sacrifice, tragedy etc.

What a show.

(迷家-マヨイガ-, Mayoiga) I watched "The Lost Village" 2017.
It was basically the anime equivalent of Lost with just as many baffling twists and odd writing choices.
I was expecting the series would have nearly the same ending as Lost, though the one it did have was marginally okay. I'm also rewatching "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo" for the Nth time.

I just started kinda watching anime again after a few years of just getting into other rabbit holes and falling off. However, my girlfriend moved in recently and we've been watching stuff together. She showed me Erased, and it was a wild ride. I showed her Trigun, which was great to revisit. We also watched the old Devilman OVA and Cromartie High School recently lmao.

I'm slowly walking through Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro. Might sound weird but it's somewhat helping me with my self-esteem.

I'm merely halfway in but I'm currently watching Saint Seiya.

I've finished seeing the Ikki vs Shaka fight, I loved it.

Currently rewatching デスノート・Death Note for the hundredth time for listening practice, and also watching ロザリオとヴァンパイア・Rozario+Vampire.
I'm looking forward to the Near and Mello arc.

I recently watched the Black Jack OVA series, and also Naoki Urusawa's Monster. (The latter was a recommendation after my first time watching Death Note)

Natsume's Book of Friends, the latest season. As always it's a really laid back anime, super chill. Perfect for winding down the day.

Started these as well this season. Witch Hat Atelier will probably end up being my favourite, but I was completely blindsided by how much I actually enjoyed Kirio when I gave it a shot.

Also, me and a few friends are on an ongoing quest to try and make it through as many classic mech shows as we can. Currently early in Ideon! (We had a prior, fucked up experience with it, so now we're giving it the proper watch it deserves. Don't watch the compilation movie followed immediately by Be Invoked.)

TIL there was a Felix the Cat anime, one that fell in the "Spinoff babies", gave it a shot, not wheel reinventing, but it has a Doraemon-esque charm

I recently watched & finished Lupin III (1971) and it was a thorough delight from start to finish. Made me a massive fan and I thoroughly appreciate the experimental designs that were involved in that anime that not a lot of others do. It's bizarre soundtrack that's filled with praises for Lupin made me waking up somedays just having it in my head going "Roopan ~ Roopan ~ Roopan~" Learning how the Japanese pronounced the name was so very fun for me and educational.

Currently I'm watching Great Mazinger from 1974, I enjoyed my time with Mazinger Z and looking forward to how Go Nagai made a sequel for it.

Ideon holds a very special place in my heart and is such a tremendously heavy story. Hope it grips you like it did me.
