Finished the two seasons of Sentai Daishikkaku. Kinda better than i expected actually. Second season was worse tho.
I liked the antihero cynical manipulative cheater the MC is, is a nice contrast with how either overly exaggeratedly villainous or heroic the other characters are. Animation wasn't that good and i hear it skipped a ton of important stuff from the manga which explains some gaps in the story i had trouble filling. In general this was good experience to make me want to read the manga since the beginning now.

Cute romanceslop for losers like me. I enjoyed it but i won't deny it's mediocre at best. Nothing new or innovative, you know exactly how everything is going to go in the whole anime in first 5 minutes of watching it.
Characters are generic loser boy made easy for losers like me to relate and feel self-inserted and generic extroverted popular smart beautiful girl that for no reason at all falls deeply in love with the loser boy even if he shows no initiative or have no intention of starting a relationship with her 99% of the time. Side characters could as well never exist and it wouldn't make any difference.
I love the character designs and the art, it's all extra extra cute and i want to squeeze all of them.
Music in this anime is very nice, i even downloaded the opening track.

Just finished watching Solo Leveling S2, very entertaining shounen slop, but dear God if it isn't the most forgettable anime I've ever watched.

Could only watch the first season of sentai daishikkaku cuz too much cutting from the manga but the ending song is pretty sick ngl

i'm watching ninkoro right now and it's kinda unhinged and a lil bit mean ::angrygenjin:ROFLMAO:

Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure

Uta Sakura is a second-year middle-school student who lives in Hanamichi Town and loves to sing. One day, while walking with her dog Kyutarou, she discovers a peach-like object floating down the river and meets Purirun, who has come to Earth in search of the Idol Pretty Cure. Purirun's homeland, KirakiLand, was attacked by Team Chokkiri and their leader, Darkine, who plunged it into darkness and aim to steal people's Kirakira. Uta's resolve to make it shine, even in the darkness, grants her the Pretty Cure Ribbon and Idol Heart Brooch, allowing her to transform into Cure Idol. Along with her classmates, Nana Aokaze and Kokoro Shigure, they battle against Team Chokkiri.

Rozen Maiden (2004) and The Tatami Galaxy (2010). I completed both of these recently, and oddly enough they ended up having quite similar themes. Currently watching (The Tatami Time Machine Blues) and as soon as the point of the remote and the kappa statue were mentioned I remembered I had already seen the amazing live action "Summer Time Machine Blues" (2005) some many years ago so am already familiar with the story, but the animation is quite good. The whole story might be different if only they had hit that remote PCB with some ISO and a Q-tip.

BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo never gets old. My brother was completely confused by it, though. It also has one of the better gag dubs (Was never a fan of Ghost Stories and the Shin Chan dub can fuck right off.)

I usually end up reading manga than watching their anime counterparts.

I started watching Sailor Moon Crystal recently because Netflix suggested it even though I already watched every single episode and story arc of the 90's Sailor Moon ages ago. As expected, it had some interesting twists but the music, classier transformations and magical attacks were better in the 90's IMO.
