What do you think of adding spoiler tags to generally NSFW content?

There has been a gradually growing number of generally NSFW images that have been posted on profile walls and elsewhere in the last few months, and it was recently suggested by a number of Users that lewd or sexually explicit art and imagery be covered by spoiler tags to hide this type of content from Users who do not wish to see it.

RGT has a wide age demographic, and some of these images aren't suitable for younger audiences, and many other Users simply do not wish to see this kind of content when browsing the forums or recommending the site to others.

We have tried to be more relaxed about Rule #7. The general rule of thumb being "if you'd see it down at the beach, then it's fine". But of course, people will still try to push the envelope as to what they can get away with.
On the other hand, these images are often impressive displays or artistry and creativity, and they have their audience.

What are your feelings on the idea?

Just let whoever wants to see this have their own section and if it gets out hand you'll know who was causing it.

mate password protected section for them then they can post all the madness they want as long as the mods agree to it then i dont have to witness it everywhere else nobody would want to join this place if thats all people want to see on here. It totally takes away from the point of the forum which was and is and should always be gaming. I really dont get the mentality because if they wanna access triple X stuff its out there it just has absolutely nothing to do with playing stuff from the 80s 90s and 00s.

I agree it could easily be a slippery slope. I'm personally entirely against it, but I'm willing to compromise

As i said i won't be near it but id want an agreement the moment it starts creeping into people posting about it everywhere else they get told their account is in the bin.

I'm still in total favor of password-protected, but maybe we can get it done with the systems already in place? We HAVE to wait for a level up, a clean rap sheet AND a month of account longevity to post random memes, so why not make it so it also encompasses the weird-ass section? And the key part: it's hidden for anyone not meeting the criteria — newcomers and guests don't even know it exists, old members can easily avoid it because they'd have to go out of their way to see it, etc.

Ok, now can you go to "Preferences" and tick the box that says "Are you over 18?"
Once you've done that, you may need to wait a few minutes, but then you should be able to view the thread and post.
