Spell Allocation vs. MP: Which do you prefer?

Yes. Nothing like 4 naked fisters to fully humble bad guys

FF1 NES is my favorite FF1. I still play it, and love it even with the bugs and jank
Always use party mentioned above.
I mean it was to be called Fighting Fantasy so the way of the fist being appropriate makes sense.

Hmmm I don't have nostalgia for FF and certainly not 1 I think its an important part of gaming history but to play it? Hell no the PS1 is hardly bearable to play...

Yes. FF1 all together is something else. You most likely know how it was Square's Hail-Mary pitch and whatever. Coming from the POV as a wide-eyed lad playing FF1 NES on a 80s box tv during my childhood, I only grew nerdier and nerdier for the series in general until FF games started becoming online MMOs, which I really don't like in general. It was a fever of sorts with many start-overs and lets-see-what-works. I didn't actually have access to internet until my first apartment around me being 22 or so. I never knew of bugs. Bugs? It's a video game. Yeah, I was like hmm...why doesn't my enemies stay asleep....But I just moved on. Too captivated at the newness of it all, and it's fundamental resonance within me. My next Final Fantasy game I was able to actually really devote myself to was 7, which probably isn't that all surprising.

I can really understand though why, if NES FF1 is some fans even second, especially if "FF3" (haha) was their first, the original is a lot to stomach. Because in that context it would have been for me too.

If you made it to the end, thanks for indulging this old nerd.

Spell allocation. I actually didn't like it when Dark Souls switched to a MP system.
Yes. I thought DS2 was edgier with just a stamina bar. DS2 enemy AI though...*eyeroll*

I like to play the original before the remake or remaster but I had to make an exception for FF1 and 2 since the original versions are just too archaic , well the PS1 versions provided me with the same experience and more polished one too , I guess its a sort of nostalgia for you I understand it , yeah its not easy to spot bugs in FF games I think my playthroughs all of them I never met a bug or a weird glitch.

Probably needs constantly playing the game again and again to spot them but I find FF games to be sort of play once games since they are quite long games so maybe once or twice every 2 3 years I would play em and most likely never find bugs.

I think a famous bug is the intelligence stat not working idk if its been fixed in Origins , oh and im not surprised you were there when FF1 first released im like the only young blood in this site with Xdwerty and ruri ::eggmanlaugh so your welcome OLD MAN::biggrin
