Is this a good game that is trying to fix what Shuffle did or yet another branding thing that follows a trend?

Not the worst game for basically a fall guys rip off, but God the monetization is shoved in your face, also apparently you have to pay like fifty bucks for a single skin. :/

If you want an actually free Sonic game with multiplayer you'd better just download

I've noticed how Sega is pushing multiplayer with Superstars having 4 playable characters at once then this game.

I think they could make good MP games but not necessarily with the Sonic IP...

The lack of Mighty, Ray, Fang and other classic characters feels like the game isn't that complete...

It's alright, this barely has anything to really make it feel like a Sonic game beyond the locations, characters, and music. It's clearly just a take on fall guys with a sonic skin. I won't particularly complain since this is probably the best Sonic mobile game we've gotten since Sonic Runners (RIP), I can still see myself enjoying it in short bursts.

Played it once, it's just Fall Guys Sonic edition. And I am not a huge fan of Online gaming. So it's a meh from me.

Jokes aside when it comes to multiplayer focused games with Sonic is Sonic Battle R good?

I’m really tired of “Modern Gaming”… everything is so expensive and soulless so they can get just 5 mover bucks from some people that will pay anything

I guess I have to apologize to the DLC content that was locked on disc back in 2009… I didn’t knew they would somehow get things worse

No, accepting it was only the beginning (next to the Horse Armor DLC).

I wish there was a cosmetic-less f2p version and one where you just pay the normal price (like 20 bucks) for the full package like how games should be about.

Even TF2 and Counter Strike became like that with skins when they were sold for the price of a game...

What do we think of this game?

I think it's pretty cool! Sure the controls aren't really the best but I think people overhype how bad they are to the point where acting like it's unplayable. The graphics and artsyle are also cool and the game definetly has some charm to it. Though one issue I do have with the game is how unbalanced the characters are

And do I really need to speak about the soundtrack? I think everyone agrees it is one of the best if not the best soundtrack in the entire Sonic series which is saying ALOT considering how good of a soundtrack most Sonic games have. I personally think it is one of the few game with an absolutely PERFECT soundtrack where all songs are 10/10 and it has zero misses(my favourite is Super Sonic Racing and Work it out btw)

The big issue is that people often ignore the shoulder buttons and press up to move when the better way would be using one of the face buttons.
