Honestly his "Sonic" voice would go fire for Vector or someone with a gruffer voice
I think Mania got a similar ad. I prefer it over "Sega does".My, what a versatile product!
I thought that since the Wii U wasn't that powerful the port would've been perfect but alas. Are there any good Sonic Lost World mods improvements for the PC version? The settings and optimization are horrid. I feel even on Wii U it runs and performs better.
I would love a spin-off with Silver and Metal Sonic doing some time traveling shenanigans.
I wouldn't mind another Visual Novel but it was for an April's Fools and that worked mostly because it was unexpected. The novelty aspect would wear off.Another game like The Murder of Sonic would be really nice. I also want a new Sonic RPG that's kinda like Mega Man Command Mission. (And since I brought that up, I also want a Command Mission 2)
An alternate canon of Mega Man X. It's a turn based Mega Man game and it kicks ass!!!What's Command Mission?
For a spin-off that will be harder to make people attached to a character.I think. A full-fledged Mobian Murder Mystery could be neat.
Maybe actually have someone die this time tho? Like, have a minor character actually killed off and have the game be about finding out who did it.
I think that is less impactful since overall we already got several casesMight be a bit dark for Sonic but frankly the lack of major deaths beyond Maria is noticeable lmao (no one bring up the comic canon).
Yeah this is sort of my point. Outside of maybenamely Tikal, Gamma, Emerl, Blaze (well, as a fakeout but still vanishing in 2006) and Chip in a way.
The levels would have to be colossal, but I could see it.Unsure about how this could be made, but I think a Sonic metroidvania could be pretty fun
Just check the story about "Sonic Synergy", the Wii U was a last minute change for the game.Ngl, I kinda liked Sonic Boom on Wii U. Too bad the performance was downright dreadful.
I think the Adventure formula overstayed its welcome. Soni Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog were also using the Adventure gameplay (not formula per se since you don't have multiple gameplay styles through levels but Heroes brought back the 2 Acts + Boss stage progression from Classic Sonic), five games (six if you want to count Unleashed as a form of Adventure formula but Boost gameplay game since it had two separate gameplay styles and hub levels) were plenty enough for the style. We got 4 Boost style games (not counting Lost World although it didn't feature boosting) and Frontiers is a hybrid Boost/Open World game.I just want a new Sonic Adventure, but it has to be like the first game since SA2 left out the "Adventure" aspect. Sonic 2006 was the closest we got and the game was broken in so many ways.
I kinda agree, even Maria herself despite being iconic to many fans (and maybe better today thanks to the remaster of Generations) were mostly plot devices we didn't see a ton.Yeah this is sort of my point. Outside of maybenot many of those characters where very... Well characterized? Again, exceptTakalrendering it waaaaay less impactful.Blaze, but that was a fake-out
No thanks. Killing an established core cast character isn't a good idea.Hell. Kill of my boy Knuckles and bring him back as a ghost. He's my favourite character but it's still be more interesting. Let's be honest. We can probably contrive a character revival down the line if people freak out about it.
I think Sonic Chrono Adventure was one but the genre itself is so oversaturated I think it's too late for this (or too soon once it fades out of popularity). A "Sonicvania" would've been a possibility around the GBA/DS era if not the 3DS.Unsure about how this could be made, but I think a Sonic metroidvania could be pretty fun
Boost stages are colossal but on the other hand the spin-dash, stomp and other abilities like the light dash could be unlocked like in Sonic Adventure 1&2 and Unleashed. The levels would have to be colossal, but I could see it.
Sadly I think most people want to play a Sonic game to jump to action right away.I have an idea, just hear me out:
A half visual novel, half platformer style game about The Chaotix doing detective work.
Yeah you're probably right, I'm just tired of Silver collecting dust or being a background characterNo thanks
I just find that time travel shenanigans are messy and could make a story bad or overcomplicated for no reasons. It only worked for Terminator 1&2, Back to the Future's trilogy and perhaps Doctor Who because the time travelling isn't the sole focus of their respective stories (well, BttF 1 was about returning to his original era but that's like someone wanting to go back to his home country).
Silver has been mishandled by the Sonic Team but it's hard to make him interesting beyond "Sonic but grey with telekinesis" sadly. We already got Shadow as the Sonic Rival and I feel like Silver was only useful to the plot of 2006 rather than being a proper new character. He's barely relevant outside like how Chaos was mostly relevant to Adventure.
Metal Sonic is one of the best antagonist in the series but sadly Sega has mishandled him as well (especially when he's mostly for the cheap nostalgic fanservice with anniversary games like Forces having him for the sake of putting the previous antagonists and he barely felt like a proper fight unlike Generations).
2006's failure made Silver's own game impossible.
I wouldn't mind another Visual Novel but it was for an April's Fools and that worked mostly because it was unexpected. The novelty aspect would wear off.
What's Command Mission

I wish Sega sold these for real.View attachment 121004
Ah yes, Sonic the Hedgehog. Of all the window decoration, he was one of the best!
