Serious question about Nintendo remakes

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Nintendo Game Boy Color is more than 20 years old. The game was released in 1999 in the USA.

Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD made some good QoL fixes to the game, most notably speeding up the sailing.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition fixed every issue with the gameplay of the original release. (And yes, that's Monolithsoft, but they are basically part of Nintendo now with all the 1st party games they help develop.)

Superstar Ultra is overrated, the extra modes are extremely lazy and the new artstyle/menus/cutscenes lack the charm of the og
I personally really enjoy the extra content from Superstar Ultra: Meta Knightmare Ultra was a fun campaign and ended with one of my favorite bosses in the series (Galacta Knight). Additionally, Helper to Hero was an enjoyable enough diversion for me, since you normally couldn't play as a helper in the game unless you were playing two-player.

While it's probably less of a selling point today, Superstar Ultra was also portable compared to the SNES original, which was a huge upside for me when I was playing it as a kid.

While the new modes included in the game weren't the most groundbreaking additions, I still think that they were neat extras added to an already great base game.

I nearly forgot, Masked Dedede was introduced in Superstar Ultra as well! I always loved his remixed theme, too!

idk to me it was very tedious having to play the whole game again with Meta Knight which is basically sword kirby with a few extra skills. Helper to Hero was pretty meh too. Revenge of Dedede was probably the most interesting of then, which is basically a hard mode of Spring Breeze, but with plenty of additions including Kabula from KDL1. But as a whole 90% of the extra content felt like padding

Zero Mission's really the only one I can think of. The Metroid 2 remake makes me angry because of AM2R also, AM2R is just a much better remake. I don't like the art style in the Link's Awakening remake. The PC ports of OOT and MM blow the 3ds ones out of the water and there's really no point in playing them today. I guess the GBA version of A Link to the Past was pretty alright. I don't know if that really counts as a full remake or not though. It was mostly the same game with some added stuff and a multiplayer game tacked on.

Paper Mario Thousand Year Door
Super Mario RPG
